DVD may do on a regular SDTV but once people go HDTV there is no going back to DVD. DVD quality is simply 1980s on a HDTV.

Uncharted is one of the best PS3 exclusives and Uncharted 2 is set to deliver YET AGAIN.
Uncharted 2 will look 3 times as good as Uncharted 1 and seeing how Uncharted 1 is still one of the best looking games out there, people should be very afraid indeed.

They claim to be supporting all consoles equally and bring out these average games on all these consoles. But the reality is this: WHO THE HELL WOULD BUY 47 DIFFERENT CONSOLES and 12 DIFFERENT HANDHELDS JUST TO PLAY SOME SE RPGs WHICH HAVENT BEEN THE SAME AS THEY USED TO BE ANYWAY.

And it says that PS3 and 360 version are coming day one. And since it says that PS3 version WILL be completed FIRST and then they move on to PORT the 360 version, than logic would dictate that PS3 owners will have to wait until 360 version is done.

As for this thread and topic. Agreed. R2 is the better shooter, something a lot of us has been saying a long time now.
And its clear as night and day that many Gears of War 2 reviews are rigged.
Gears of wars 2 is no doubt a fun game to play but in just about any front and topic, R2 makes it look like a 64 bit game on a cartridge. R2 is simply that rich in content.

What they say is that they will finish the game on the PS3 as it is meant to be finished. And only after that, will they try to fit the whole game on DVD. On 360 to the best of 360s abilities. And should some corners be cut, they will do so if necessary but it will not be at the cost of the PS3 version.
Basically: PS3 version confirmed SUPERIOR.

In fact, all fighting games are best played using Dpad.
Dpad is simply more accurate, faster and allowing for faster reacting than analog stick. Thats a fact.
Just like how mouse and keyboard will always beat out joypad for shooters.
