Im a bit confused as to why they would have been working on this game in the first place? With wildly different mechanics than the arkham games. Just seems odd.
Zelda's korok seeds are its version of Dragon's dogma's seeker tokens
I REALLY wish Amy Hennig was working on something non-licensed.
Such a big flop that they decided to reinvest in it and develop DLC. /s
@FinalFantasyFanatic Nintendo is the worst with dropping game prices, quite possible the most anticonsumer practice in the industry. Activision is pretty bad too, though who knows if that will change now.
I think they still have a shot, they just need to nail the launch at the right time. Although I'm hyped for the finals, i have a feeling it'll be a bit lacking content wise early on. Theyre also very different games. COD is usually winding down my spring, so that'd be a good time to launch. I do agree a bit of the fire and excitement is gone.
Havent played any of it, but ive had my eye on this for a long time as it's a lot of BF3 veterans working on it (and it shows).
This is exactly why I rarely play games at launch. Games are almost always better a coulle years later.
Dust 514 was such a unique game back in the day. I only played probably 10 hours of it because the balancing was way off, but otherwise it was an interesting idea.
It was just a first impression from trailers? You're telling me you've never watched a movie trailer and thought, "Wow, that looks bad".
It's obviously not a definitive review of something until played/watched, just initial impressions.
Wait, is this actually good?? I thought this looked like mobile trash?
Just because something was said months ago doesnt mean it makes the game any better. Just means they were setting expectations.
When Playstation tried to do this with PS3/PSV/PSP store 2 years ago it was met with outrage and they had to reverse the decision. Now we see xbox doing it and i havent heard a peep except this article.
Although I really liked both SM and MM, the content released for SM2 wasnt pulling me in. The new story trailer though really changed my mind. Im pretty hyped now.
I've been wanting a remaster/remake of 1 and 2 SOOO bad. Some of my favorite games of the generation, and were short so I played through them multiple times.
Unfortunately the games only dold a couple million copies, so i have my doubts we'll see anything. The animations are also a bit rough, so whatever they release would likely require a fair amount of work.
None of those games had dedicated servers on console in the first place? Were always player hosted. Did something change?
Hmmm....interesting. It shouldn't matter though because Phil has iterated countless times that the whole point of the merger is about a future "where players globally have more choice to play their favorite games". Right....RIGHT? Lol
"Microsoft had originally floated the idea of acquiring mobile giant Zynga, but ultimately massed on the deal because Zynga wasn't big enough. Take-Two Interactive ended up purchasing Zynga for $12.7 billion."
ZYNGA NOT BIG ENOUGH???? AT $12.7 Billion? MS is something else.
This is what im curious about. To me Indiana Jones IS Harrison Ford. Im skeptical that theyll get him to do it tho.
The way i always think about it is this: Live service games are seemingly much higher risk. A live service game that bombs might only be on the market for a couple months before it's determined a waste of resources and servers are taken offline. Live service games also seems to be crazy successes or massive failures. With single player games there's more room for middle of the road successes and failures, and theres no risk of servers going offline so the sales can keep going near ind...
