This is what happens when you give the puddle babies & the cross-play babies a voice. It never stops...
" Energizer Battery backed out and the story collapsed on itself... We had no choice but to cancel the sequel"
True story
"What about the puddles!!!"
Did they poll people coming out of the Microsoft store? 😂
The beauty about it all is that Microsoft can say what they want, use it as a positive till its finally out and when they can't deliver, it's fanbase will protect them and say "it might not be low latency, but I'm still having fun"
Microsoft have been doing this all generation because the gaming media have zero backbone.
Microsoft: "you might not want to buy our subpar games or our console, but we don't care! We will muscle our way in and you will learn to love us, because we are the all mighty Microsoft!!"
Gamers: "Why don't you start by making great games for a few years before shoving your subpar brand down our throat?"
I've never seen a company achieve so little, yet feel like they're the best to lead the industry forward. That'...
Wow! This ain't ready for prime time...
If Days Gone turns out to be another great game by Sony, I think it's time to start trusting them also... I find ever since Capcom stopped doing exclusives for Microsoft is when they turned it around.
Haven't played it since I platinum the game. Been itching to get back in it, just waiting for some type of deal on the season pass (I've waited this long for a promo, might as well wait a little longer)
Can't wait for what they do next (hopefully Spider-Man 2)
If you ignore every open World games since GTA 3, CD3 is pretty compelling & cutting edge open World game...
You can't believe everything you read on a Microsoft page... We all remember xbox one x "uncompromised 4k" & " high fidelity VR" which got deleted prior to launch...
Microsoft have made career this gen of over promising and under delivering. The questions we should be asking is "Did they know when they posted those things that they were never going to deliver on those promises?"
It would be extremely petty, and that's obviously why they wouldn't do it. I'm not suggesting they actually do this, I'm just saying the ones who want cross-play so bad are willing to do it at all cost since it has zero effect on their business. They use the fans as a sheild so they can turn around and sell their Microtransactions to even more people.
Very few are putting Microsoft's feet to the fire when it comes to putting free to play games behind a ...
Because the developers who are making the most noise about cross-play are the ones who make free to play games. Those games are the ones that make the most sense for cross-play since the game is free and available on all platforms... The way they make money is by selling Microtransactions and the only reason they want it so bad is because they can't sell Microtransactions to their free game, if players on Xbox or switch have nobody to play with. Their biggest goal of all of this is to fil...
Sony should just say "We'll flip the switch on cross-play when Microsoft releases its sells numbers & removes free to play games from behind the paywall"
When Microsoft keeps releasing trash games like crackdown 3, you don't have to wonder for too long why sony is in no rush to enable cross-play with its rival.
In the long run cross-play is a good idea, but the ones who want it are just Gaas games that want to bleed you dry with Micr...
This is definitely a precursor to the onslaught of bad reviews Crackdown 3 is about to get
"This game is very underwhelming and isn't worth the 60$, but luckily for you Microsoft let's you try it out for 2 months for only 2$ with Game pass"
I used to call Gamepass a crutch for mediocre games, but now with these promos it's a fire extinguisher for their self inflicted dumpster fires...
Just think of how many games there's on Gamepass.. Over 200 games, now how much are they paying to licens per game each month? 500k plus, maybe a million plus for the big titles. 500k X 200 games = 100 millions a month. It's not an exact science since we're speculating, but I'm sure we can both agree Microsoft needs 10 plus million subscribers sooner rather than later.
Maybe, but you're on the same page that they need 10 plus million subscribers to make it work? If not how many do they need? Last year and this year is a wash with all those promos they have. When the promos stop will it be able to stand on its own?
Microsoft doesn't have that discipline, I'm sorry... They're the type of company that follows where the wind blows and if after a couple of years, Gamepass is deep in the red, theyll drop it like everything else they've dropped (windows phone etc) They've pumped billions into windows phones and they dropped that at the drop of a hat. What makes you think Gamepass is that special?
I'm just hypothetically speaking. If they're able to get those sub...
Microsoft doesn't have that discipline in their DNA. There's no way in hell shareholders are going to stand 10 years in the red for Gamepass. 10 millions subscribers a month, is only 100 millions dollars a month for their 1st party games, 3rd party licenses and infrastructure. I doubt Gamepass has even 1 million subscribers a month now (I'm talking about people paying 10$, not those 1$ promo etc). They're a long ways away from that 10 millions a month.
It's hilarious how many trash articles Sony gets in a week... Microsoft have lied all generation, used those lies to sell its brand and havent faced as much criticism over any of that compared to Sony & cross-play. Before this cross-play thing even came into the spotlight, Sony already had plenty of games that cross-played with PC. They didn't make a big deal out of it, it was just an extra feature of playing on playstation. Now all of a sudden they have become the villain of cros...
