Who really give a sh8t about HD movies I can download them from VOD through my 360 or stream them from my PC" may have cut it on a different thread but perhaps not one about the media capabilities of a console, assuming someone doesn't want to max out their credit card. As far as a media hub debate goes i think the movie playback issue appears quite relevant.

I don't look at my controller whilst i'm playing as i know where the buttons are.... is it too much to ask for MS to provide a prompt, discreet but noticable on the screen? That said i do like the 360 pad, bar the ropey d-pad as everyone seems well aware of.
It's ok, my 360 left a nasty taste in the mouth when it RROD'd on me, Sony haven't planned things that well but hey, guess they can't be perfect. I will testdrive first then see if i get DS3 - i too bought before the price drop - more fool me but i'm still happy with the console. And yes MS fans i'm happy with my elite as well, except the fear it's going to RROD on me any day - it's a bit like playing russian roulette.....
Who said 360 fans were faboys, unable and unwilling to accept the merit of other products? I see no proof here! I used to think like this but then played with the sixaxis - it's really nice, but it's ok because apparently the 360 controller is the best 'ever' and will always be used by at least this dude. Reassurance MS will surely be happy with. Just hope they make it compatible with the next xbox, otherwise this guy will be royaly boned and stuck in the 360 era for evermore.
Wow, an article that, aside from being so beautifully ignorant of benefits of the sixaxis, makes me again want to eat my own face due to the flagrant use of the 'word' "pwns" in the title. I have both consoles, personally i 'prefer' the sixaxis, rumble will be great and was, admittedly an ommission that i blame sony for. I hate commenting when it has all ben said before but the author of this must have some level of genetic microsoft-biased dementure. I think the Wii is great but that's why i purchased it months and months ago, before the ridiculous hype. This kind of statement is worrying due to the fact that people/companies will abuse consumers if they are this misguided. I hope little johnny gets his ferrari next christmas that he "has his heart set on". IF devs get their research right surely you will learn about animals, their habitat, their behaviour, likely reactions, aggression etc, perhaps what they eat- all by observation. In all fairness having kept an eye on both PSN and XBLM (although admitteldy in the UK) they have both been poor over the past month. I would say however that Uncharted was the gem of the month, because i am able to access the US PSN; a very nice touch not available on my 360 with other marketplaces. Sony do need to step their PSN game up in general BUT it's not all you make it out to be on XBLM week in week out.
Gears, whilst nice looking is no comparison, and, in my opinion is in many ways more linear - yet still an awesome game. Mass Effect does not look better - period. I can see pros and cons of releasing such items but i can't believe that anyone would take that response as a source of hope. I am almost tempted to send an e-mail to nintendo asking them if they are planning to develop a floating magazine rack with blue LED's powered by the Wii's USB ports. I guess the reality is that more storage for more advanced games is natural progression. Both systems have HDD and both could facilitate a cache to ease transition. I think the argument about having to change discs could be addressed when considering a sandbox game such as this due to the prospect of the gaming map being a city (no ideal points to simply have a disc change message). I downloaded the Paradise demo for both consoles and thought it was great on both. Ok, it's not what could be considered a serious racing sim but hell, it's an arcade racer. Does being able to see the driver add to the arcade experience? i think not!
