It's a smart choice because it builds hype. There were no demos for Halo 3 or Gears and look at how well they sold. I'm sure nearly every PS3 owner is aware of this title and many, dare I say it, the majority of PS3 owners will get this game.
Comparisons 4 Fanboys. This is what this site is turning into. Why must we post EVERY comparison video know to man? The full game hasn't even released yet people are comparing this game like no other. They're the same. Period.
I highly doubt this will happen. If and when Sony releases a $299 PS3 it will be before the release of MGS4 or GTA IV or some other big game.
Come on now, do you just copy and paste every fanboy comment you make? Award winning features? Do you mean achievements? Aside from achievements there are no differences between the game on either system. You're a fanboy, plain and simple. I don't know why you like to advertise for MS so much on this site but it looks like you have nothing better to do.

I hope 2008 offers more games of broader genres than FPS. COD4, Orange Box, Unreal are great games but in the long run it's pretty repetitive. I got 2 FPS, a TPS (Uncharted), and Assasin's Creed for Christmas and I think I've played Assassin's Creed more than any
others, although I beat COD4 first.
In the long run, Crysis will probably boost PS3 sales a bit. If you look at how poorly the game sold for PC, it would only make sense for them to port it. It'd be cool if it ...
It's stuff like this that makes me want UT3. No, not because it's a Halo map but because of the endless amount of free user-created content. I can't really justify $60 for a multiplayer game so I'll wait for the price to go down a bit before I pick it up.
Amazon did the same thing with Rainbow Six Vegas for the PS3 by making it $40 prior to release. Eventually, they emailed people telling them they made a mistake and they would have to pay $60 for it.
This game will rock, that's all there is to it. Usually I just get the games I want that release in the fall for Christmas but I think I'll have to make an exception :)
The game'll probably be out in April. I'm no expert but could it realy take more than three months to test the game? Good timing too because there isn't really anything to get until April (except Burnout). I'm still having a blast with the 4 games I got for Christmas so this is perfect timing.
The Orange Box on PS3 is a great title. I've played through most of Portal and had no framerate problems whatsoever. I played a couple of hours of HL2 and no problems. Team Fortress runs very smooth as well. You PS3 owners need to quit listening to reviewers and play the damn game for yourself. Rent it if you're unsure but I'd go ahead and buy it.
At least Prison Break comes back in January. I would have been able to watch 24 in a couple weeks had it not been for this lame strike. I guess that's more time to play video games ;)
My dad bought Carnival Games and it's alright but nothing special. Some of the games are really crappy and the controls don't always work too well. But honestly, an anticipated game of 08? You gotta be kidding me.
I only use the site for forums now. Their awards are ridiculous and they are 360/PC loving fanboys for the most part, especially Aaron "too much variety" Thomas
I'm busy playing CoD4, Uncharted, and Orange Box to care about some new demos. I'm also loving the Divx/Xvid support that lets me stream and copy Heroes episodes to my PS3 wirelessly :)
It would be MGS4. This game will be amazing, whether it has full online with the main game or just a small portion, it will be a very long and fun experience. I don't know how much demand there will be in my area for this game, but if you live in a highly populated area, I suggest you pre-order the game, I know I will.
I can now stream DivX and Xvid movies saved on my laptop. Pretty cool how you can stream and save movies onto the HDD from your computer, wirelessly.
The game will be successful and there's no doubt about that. In fact, this "news" gives GTA IV even more publicity. Good job, Jack.
