If he can't get his COD4 fix at home, he'll get it somewhere else.
So how do you mod the broken screen?
the ps3 and 360 can even come close to comparing with my HTPC when it comes to streaming media. Just way too much restrictions. My HTPC can stream any type of media file in existence in full 1080p to my tv... can your ps3/360 do that? I know ps3 and 360 can't.
but please people, linux is only attractive to hardcore geeks. Installing anything and configuration is still way to difficult for even average users. Until they improve on making it more user friendly, linux is just another distant option for a large majority of people even if it can be the solution to everything. Windows is on top because of one thing. Point and click user friendly.
But I think the main reason for the upgrade is to try and thwart piracy. Not about improving the system. The "improved" screen is just a gimmick to try and lure people into getting the new psp and leave the slim and fat behind. I wouldn't be surprised if the new screen is cheaper then the current screens for the PSP slim and fat.
but if you have enough resources, vista is pretty nice. There's still that lame file transfer issue though. I'm at 8gigs of ram right now and vista uses about 2 gigs of it constantly. Sometimes it dips down to about 1.5gigs but usually never lower then that. I admit I used to hate it but I stuck with it and it's not so bad.
think people won't notice... yeah right. Who's the dumb SOB who approved this "upgraded" version of the PSP.
is due to the crap known as the gears 2 ending. I watched it on my PC last night and it BSOD'd.
I really didn't need one, but having that to compliment my 2 other PSP's would be a very nice when hitting the road. Nothing like multi-player gaming on road trips. It's just an added bonus if there's an upgraded model. From what I've seen so far though, adding a PSP-3000 to my collection will not happen.
Seriously, it's an endless loop, people download because of DRM, DRM gets stronger because of downloads... of course pirates set that in motion but as of right now... it's going to be a rough road for those who played it nice. Stop being nice and honest because in this world, you'll always end up last.
Not sure if this is already covered but, if stores already have the game, it's just sitting there for another week, perhaps not the case with Far Cry but having a release date weeks after the retailers have them is just a big tease. I'm sure it's to get people pumped up for release day but those who can't wait will pirate and finish the game before it's even released. Being so, there's no longer a reason to purchase the game come release day. In my opinion, if you want to reduce piracy, re...
But, not for long... unfortunate for Sony, not so much for me.
Someone disagreed... WTF are they thinking. Must live in the middle of nowhere in some trailer park playing their PS3 on a 13" black and white CRT tv.
2 have vista Ultimate x64, 2 OS X, 3 XP Pro x86, and 1 file server with linux. Here's my opinion on it. If you have less then 4 gigs, stay with XP, 4+ gigs and Vista is a very responsive OS. Have had compatibility issues with anti-virus/spyware/malware/fir ewall types of software but that was when Vista first came out. As of right now, it's pretty decent.
to be made, at the end of the day, greed will still prevail. Pirates will still get what they want for free and corporations will still get their money. Even though it may not be as much as they like.
360 vs PS3 means nothing to me. If it matters this much to people, maybe they should jump into my boat.
I give them credit for trying though.
buy the game because we live in a country where our government is righteous and honest, our corporations love and respect their employee's and everything they do is for the customers. They keep the manufacturing jobs here and pay respectable wages. EVERYONE have health care. There are no murders and we have no jails. There's no child rape, domestic abuse, and everyone lives to benefit not themselves but for those around them. That's why we shouldn't download games for free.
the goods are there for the taking. So some guy makes it available, all I have to do is click on a link. It's like finding money on the side of the street, sure, it's wrong to take it, but who wouldn't? The bad person is the one who goes out of their way to crack it. The Robin hoods of todays gaming society. Eventually, they'll find it in their corporate greed to find a way to stop all this pirating but till then, just enjoy people. It's not like they give a rats ass about any of you an...
Pirates have always been able to download movies for free...
