They should sell it as a multimedia entertainment hub, Hi-Def Movies, Music, photographs, internet all in one machine in your living room.

Microsoft grew by offering Windows and offing the other 'windows' operating systems in the process. Now they get bigger by throwing money at any competition - and **not** by selling quality.
As long as people keep buying Microsoft software they will buyout all competition. Which is why I'm going over to Unbuntu for my Operating system and software and steering away from buying the suicidal Xbox 360.
