Two things here, one is that this guy is obviously upset that making games will be more expensive on PS4 and big dev's will only make 15 million dollars instead of 16 because of this. I agree about the day one problems usually being irritating. But I am hopeful everything will go smoothly for the most part. Im sure random disconnections will occur but hopefully nothing that takes us out of playing for hours at a time.

I completely agree with everything you just said. The "concept art" that was downloadable as our Bonus Content Drop that only happened once every three months was really a slap in the face. I loved BF3, but yeah, the new maps were the ONLY good part of the premium membership.

Finally some clarity on what the cloud can do for gaming. That sounds really great. I actually hope all companies will start to utilize this because once one company has great success using it and the game turns into a blockbuster hit, more companies will push themselves to make better games which is good for gamers like us.
I thought it was very weird for the RPG to do that so it makes sense to stop it. Looks like the SRAW may be the go to rocket for engineers now. Its free fire, wire guided, and can lock onto laser designated targets. Sounds like the multi purpose rocket that can fit all situations. I feel the same about the details. Will they be added for the full release? We will have to see. One thing Im not sure I like is the difference in gun recoil from BF3. In BF3 it seemed more jumpy for every bullet fired which I felt was kind of realistic. Now it seems more like it floats around softly and almost feels like you have less control over it. It will probably just take getting used to.
BF3 only had a 1.5GB HD texture install at launch. That means that 12 GB of the game is going to be loading from the hard drive to install things mid game. I hope they used it for the non moving parts of the game because loading anything from your hard drive can be slower. My guess (and I hope Im wrong) is that alot of texture pop ins and scenery pop ins are going to be constantly occurring.
I think this all can be very good for developers and you can use it to build great games. The problem I see is that alot of the best games are cross platform made by the largest companies who dont want to build a game exclusively for XBOX and miss out on all of the sales to the other platforms. But for those companies that want to build a great game exclusively for XBOX, you will have amazing resources to use.
Either way it looks better than the xbox 360 beta I have been playing.
It is different or more difficult than it needs to be but still not that bad. Here's what you do: Just join a server with more empty slots than needed. For instance - you have 4 people all together for your squad. Join a server that says 18/24. Decide who joins first and have that person go ahead and join. Then press the select button to pop up the battlelog screen and go down to that persons name and press "A" to join him.
