Embracer resold Tomb Raider to Amazon.
Xbox gamers don't buy games. Especially with an install base of 20m, that doesn't help much. Microsoft will have to keep fronting the money for publishers indefinitely.
It's artificially beneficial. Microsoft is fronting the money, when the money should actually be coming from the consumers.
Because Microsoft pays the publisher to put their game(s) on gamepass. This usually will cover the cost of development at the very least. Any sales or residuals that result afterwards is typically pure profit.
They couldn't even get Redfall or Starfield running at 60 fps. Doubt they'll get very far here.
Don't get a gaming laptop. Just don't. Get a laptop for work and a desktop for gaming.
How is that relevant? I'm saying it will be possible for PCs with equivalent hardware to run Starfield at 60 fps. So there's no reason Xbox shouldn't.
Seems unnecessary...
Delusional.
If 30fps was the "vision", it'd be locked on PC as well.
Fable was announced 3* years ago. And we still couldn't get gameplay.
Really banking on the quantity over quality I see.
Wonder how many of them will end up like Redfall?
Announced in 2019, and not a lick of gameplay. Might as well just produce a movie at this point.
@KingKionic
If PC was Xbox, Starfield wouldn't be locked to 30 fps.
Nothing to see here, just propaganda.
If that demo is any indication to what's in store for the rest of the game then we are in for a treat!
Says you lol.
I'm playing TOTK at higher framerates on my Steam Deck.
And the locked to 30fps on Series X cemented my decision on trading in my X and I'll be getting Starfield on Steam. (My gamepass runs out by the time it releases)
That's funny, because of this presentation I traded in my Series X and getting Starfield on PC for 60+ fps.
Do you think Starfield is rendering all 1000 planets at the same time or something?
PCs will be able to run Starfield at 60fps+ even ones that are built to equal a Series X or PS5's power.
So why can't they do 60fps for Series X?
Divinity 1 and 2 had just as many options and played great with a controller... I expect BG3 to play just as well.
