This game is looking very cool. Let's hope it plays as nicely as it looks.

This comment is ludicrous. It's inevitable that Konami will eventually port MGS4 to the Xbox (if they're not already) and if past iterations are any indication (and they are) Snake will look just fine on the 360. Might even play better, too. At least it'll have standardized features like achievements and rumble (unless you were like me and imported a DualShock3 from Asia) and custom soundtracks and all those things update 2.40 kinda slacked on.

And as for Uncharted...SHUT UP. Why...

The Wii is lame; Wii Fit is a joke; I prefer real porn over these attention-starved chicklets and their dumpy asses. How f*cking lame do you have to be to do this? How f*cking lame do you have to be to get off on this?!

Especially when they don't have their facts straight, despite articles right in front of them - such as how the PS3 is bottle-necked on its RAM. I own both systems and can say with a straight face that Sony has shot themselves in the foot so many times they have no toes to stand on anymore.

There's still hope, though.

I was excited for the update, and while I can't wait to get home and destroy some Super Stardust and Pain to earn some trophies, I'm disappointed in the custom soundtrack situation. Xbox made it clear from day one that they were about freedom of play for gamers and to that end, it's standard across their library that all games need to accept custom soundtracks. They built it right into the infrastructure.

Waiting for a game to patch itself - for the developers to decide if they w...

COD4 has rumble on the 360. And the 360 controller has rumbled from day one. =) Just a heads-up.

I own both systems and completely agree that when the 2.40 update hits, many of my Sony complaints will go out the window. But I'm getting tired of all this attention Sony's getting for the update. It's like applauding the lame horse that crosses the finish line ten minutes after the race is over. I realize it's not that severe, but I do find myself harboring a certain loyalty toward Xbox, or an animosity toward Sony. Not sure which.

Basically it comes down to luck and promises. ...

...in a very whiney, b*tch-like voice "Man, 360 is dead."

Gears of War 2, Alan Wake, Fable 2, Forza 3, Mass Effect 2, next-gen Tomb Raider, and that's after only having been awake for twenty minutes.

Yeah, that b*tchy little birdie was right: there's nothing worth getting excited for on the 360. It is so dead.

You finally caught up to the kind of interface Xbox 360 had AT LAUNCH.

Uncharted?! Why is everyone crazy about this game? Why do I feel like the only sane person, standing on Crazy Island. Sure the graphics are lush but it's nothing the 360 can't do. And the combat is ATROCIOUS! Some of the worst aiming mechanics I've ever played. Here's to adventure games without much adventure.

God, Lara Croft, save me from this dreadful plight.

We live in an age of hype - it's a by-product of the digital revolution. So let's come to terms with that and move on. From movies to TV shows to video games, everything gets hype. And it certainly sets a very high-bar. Best example: Assassins Creed.

Imagine if you walked into your local game store and saw AC on the shelf, having no idea what it was or what it promised. You buy it, take it home, and boom, you're in Awesome Town. It's a good game. A very good game. But because of ...
