Missile and Francis York Morgan are the best characters this generation.
My second PS3 broke two weeks ago. Of course Sony wants another $150. Apparently keeping it dusted weekly and in an incredibly open space isn't enough. Even my 360 still works. The only other consoles I've had break are my PS2, two PS1s and a PSP; and I've had everything under the sun, all of which still work, except my Sony garbage.
I hope to not have to avoid the game, but if there is an online pass I will.

Here's a lot of peoples thought process: Oh boy I'd sure love to play *insert Japanese exclusive game here*, I'll just import it and... oh wait, the 3DS is region locked, so I have to import not only the game but also another $200+ handheld as well? I guess I'll just pirate it.
As soon as they bypass region lock I'm picking one up for the most likely dozens of games we never get overseas. It's truly Nintendo's own fault that people are quick to rush for a solution for the mind-numbingly stupid region lock in the first place.

I came in expecting a post about SSX 3 or Tricky.
Still only going to rent it anyway. The multiplayer beta was terrible (their idea of co-op was retarded). Gonna rush through the story and send it back asap.
I would buy this, but Nintendo threw in region lock just for ****s and giggles. My only hope is someone like XSEED or Atlus picking it up, or someway to bypass the stupid lock.
Out of all Final Fantasy releases, this one deserved a HD remake the least. Even FF12 could do with the Bluray's larger storage space, as the sound quality was pathetic due to the massive amount of compression they did on it. Expecting SE to do anything reasonable is like asking your pets to speak seven languages. I'm certain this will be simply an upscale to 1080p, complete with the lousy textures intact, and nothing more, ala RE4HD.
Oh boy I'm sure glad we're getting this shovelware instead of Xenoblade or The Last Story.

Tira's bust sure is smaller in-game compared to that concept art.
Pointless, especially considering Japan's most popular game (Monster Hunter) depends on having WiFi for multiplayer.
I love fanservice as much as the next perv, but there's no denying that the flood of it that occurred half-way through the PS2's lifetime basically killed the modern Japanese RPG.
