@miyamoto and @sianslow I'm not the biggest IGN fan but you are totally wrong about Greg Miller, if something he's a PlayStation fanboy, the same for Colin Moriarty. Actually they are the biggest Sony fanboys on IGN, they are allways pretty open about their love for the PlayStation brand.
I think the list it's pretty good but at the same time left so many favorites out, just an example of how good was the PS2 lineup. You can do a top 100 and still don't include lots of amazing games.
I don't see all that games launching the same day with the console, but in it's first year maybe, no one can deny Sony had the best exclusive new Ip's this gen, that would help them to make next gen easier than this one when all third party exclusives became multiplatform.

I don't get why everything is doomed this days if they don't beat their competitors, Battle Royale don't need to outsell Super Smash to be a great game, I can agree it needs more characters and stages but the game it's pretty good, I really like it for what it is, I love Super Smash too and I'm not even a huge Nintendo or Mario fan. Why can't people just enjoy the games for what they are, I love PlayStation but what I love the most are good games no matter the company ...
I bought it for $15 on Black Friday, THAT'S a good deal :) Had played all the games before but I didn't own them so I was really happy to get them. Can't say it's my favorite series but it's pretty amazing and everyone should play them.

kojima is a hardcore developer for hardcore gamers and mgs4 is the best example of a game really created thinking about the true fans.Thanks for care about us not like nintendo.
its not useful for games and the movie market is dead so better buy a bluray player if you don't want to buy a ps3.

it will sell a lot of consoles in japan they really love mgs and see kojima like a hero mgs4 its a reason why i bought my ps3 but another games too of course not just migs.
Seen it that way that's really a shock, it's an important moment on MGS1 but at the time most of us couldn't care less about Miller really.
