I don't see any use for this much space this generation for games. If these discs can be used with existing bluray players then it would be fine to use them for Bluray Movies. We could have alot more features, box sets, and trilogy's on a single disc which would be awesome. Who would want say Lord Of the Rings entire collection on one bluray or something similar. As far as games go i think at most this generation we will max out with the 100gb discs.
I think the graphics are on par if not better than most online games. COD4 being the best looking at the moment. Who eve said that these are ps2 graphics must not have viewed the larger screens. They also have til october to finish touching up the game. If this game delivers the feel of a upgraded socom 1 and 2 engine then i'll be living on this game as i did with the first two. Lets hope the beta starts here pretty soon cause i am ready thats for sure!
Its finally here! I get home from a crappy night where we lost both softball games to see 2.4 update. I can't believe its actually here.
I might just get a 360 now once fall gets here. I work in construction doing outside work and we really do get alot of time off in the winter time. Usually 1-2 months on average. So i'll add a 360 pro next to my ps3 to catch up on some 360 exclusives i missed along with all the great stuff coming out on ps3.
I am thinking about getting a 360 in the fall especially if the rumored $299.99 pro model is true. Be nice to win this one seeing as it looks badass. Seeing as i own a ps3 this one would like mighty nice next to it.
Man i am with you on that one. That would be the greatest series collection ever created. Better yet if he started work now maybe by the time ps4 hit we would see a release on it. Can you imagine replaying mgs1, 2 and 3 with ps3 or ps4 graphics. I just bleeped my pants thinking about it. He could use like 50gb per game and still have 200gb of space left lol.
