30+ people are waiting for this game to come out from my old WoW guild alone... This game will be big. They need only 2 things. Release with the polish that WoW had at it's launch and stable servers. They nail this and they're golden as the Star Wars license will do the rest.
Your not so subtle attempt at trolling fails.
Can we call SC2 new and innovative? That way I can feel less guilty about wanting to buy it.
I really hope IW's co-founders win their lawsuit against Activision. I also hope IW jumps ship and we get to see what they can do without a Kotick release calendar on their shoulders.
MWF2 is admittedly one of the worst high profile launches to date - but I highly doubt IW wanted to release it like that.
I really hope Blizzard's games don't fall into the same pitfall.

Does anyone know how this "merger" works? If I were to b...
Do you realize that was the tutorial?
Granted you can't skip it on a second play through, but it's really not all that long.. god forbid they ease you into those controls rather than throwing you into a trial within 30 seconds of getting past the title screen.
Edit:
What Thom said.. I just didn't really feel like getting into it that deep... It was very well played (the intro).
Why would you want to stifle creativity in the market just because YOU don't like a particular genre?
That's like me saying "I don't like sports games and I think all developers should cease and desist making football, hockey, soccer, and what ever other stupid sport there is and focus their development time and money only on games I like to play".
This was a breath of fresh air for a lot of gamers and judging it before you sink a few hours into it is just...
I don't know about that, I tend to trade in games like crazy because they're huge let downs (Hi GTAIV) or they just have zero replay... but Heavy Rain was an instant classic for me, and those stay on my shelf to collect dust and get re-played 2-3 years later.
That's at least one copy not going back to the used shelf.
Used sales effect every game - and I stated that used sales will not effect the initial launch sales - which they wont.
Not only does that comment belong over there ------>, but how many people sell the game second hand is irrelevant. That does not detract in any way shape or form from the revenue earned from those 500k copies sold and people will continue to buy it new.
Well earned Quantic
Fat people "do physical activity" and get injured!
Shocking!
I would be willing to bet that a lot of these people would get just as injured going to the local gym and working out..
Thanks for that link, I just snagged 2 upgrades.
"By for a state-of-the-art shooter game like “Crysis,” which relies on a hair-trigger response, you may as well be playing with dialup Internet connection, he said. “We’re not worried.”"
Because Nintendo has a state of the art shooter named Crysis or even like Crysis, a robust stable online network, and a High-Def console to make a statement like that.
Not that I think OnLive will work either but get bent Reggie. Use some reasoning and logic that doesn't ma...
And signed up with Blockbuster online... new movies in the mail today!
So you can fall on it when you keel over from getting shot in the back? :P
The entire point of my first reply was that games do not have to be flawless to get 10/10's because no game is flawless.
Games do deserve 10/10's, not based on being flawless but based on their fun factor. It drives me nuts when people say a game doesn't deserve a 10/10 because this rock texture over here is blurry or a few guys get stuck in a looping animation. Did it make the game less fun? Well if it did you probably shouldn't be a gamer.
Woo and I still g...
People are to f'ing sensative.
I <3 Killzone 2, but it's not the end all be all shooter. What would the point of Killzone 3 be if that was the case? Or any other shooter in the future?
Best part is - I'm pretty much a PS3 fanboy. I buy all of my multiplats on my PS3 (Even though I now regret buying Fallout 3 at all - I knew DLC wasn't coming but no patches either is BS FU BETHESDA!) - And absolutely love Killzone 2 to death - My favorite shooter of all time.
But every game can improve - nothing is ever perfect - humans by nature are flawed ;).
No game gets a 10/10. Ever.
No game is ever perfect - I don't care what system you're a fanboi of, this is a fact. There is ALWAYS room for improvement, otherwise the industry would dry up and die.
Edit:
Wow so people *actually* think there are *flawless* games out there?
And I'm having a lot of fun with the new expansion. Really didn't think I'd ever have fun with WoW again.
The problem is every mmo since WOW has been held to a double standard, which is why I say that. The general populace that doesn't have the capacity to understand that an MMO's launch is going to be hectic and have connection issues until the population balances out will hold it against them.
Wow got lucky with it's launch window and lack of competition that it could get away with the craptastic launch.
