I think North Korea would make sense for the game.

I'm glad we're on the same page. Just a little miscommunication. Anyways, money ruins everything.

@ Sniggins

LOL. If anything, my friend, I think people are less likely to sell their games after they've forked over even more money for DLC. I agree that DLC should be free and already available when the game comes out. I'm just saying that it annoys me that they get away with charging for content that should have been with the game in the first place. Developers make more money off of new sales rather than DLC. Why would they want people to buy games from Gamestop? They do...

You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the discovery channel.

Man, if only she was real :(

If they're going to keep doing this, they better lower the retail price of games. Instead of paying for $60 games, we're paying $65-$70. I can understand them doing this to fight off used game sales, but come on, lower the price of the game if you're going to charge for extra features, otherwise people aren't going to want to pay for them.

I just hope it doesn't come to the point where "stimulating all of our senses" means we have to smell the blood and feces when we kill people in games.

I've been telling people this for years. Isn't it funny how the games that get the "mature" rating are targeted more for the immature crowd? Most of the time, sex, language, and violence are completely unnecessary and attract the attention of 13-year old boys. It makes them feel more mature to be playing games that are supposed to be for adults. I don't mind sex, language, and violence as long as they're not too over-the-top, and I agree that they don't equal maturity.

How about the option to turn of voice-chat, rather than having to toggle mute individual players every match. I'm tired of hearing 12-year olds screaming high-pitched F-bombs at me while I'm playing. It ruins the immersion and is extremely annoying.

The atmosphere and graphics are great, and I like the damage system, but I actually kind of laughed when I saw the monster. It looks like a half-man half-goat thing, or maybe a man/bear/pig. Kidding aside, this would be a great game. It would be cool if we got a petition going and enough people pledged to buy this and/or 8 days, and they would continue developing them.

Does this even matter? Websites always write articles complaining about fanboys and then they make articles similar to this which does nothing but fuel the fanboy war even further. I couldn't care less how well the same game does on each console. I just care about the quality of the games coming out, not the hype or the sales or the bias, just the quality.

I agree with you completely. Alt 2 is okay, especially for MP, but standard 1 works perfect for SP because of the cover-system. I started out with alt because i was skeptical of the other layouts, but i eventually switched over. i think people just tend to be afraid of doing things differently after they've spent days worth playing COD4 and don't want to have to get used to something else.

At first I was a little bummed about there not being a cover-system in MP, but then I realized that it would make campers a bigger pain in the @$$. In MP, you're moving around all the time and I don't want some 13-year old punk hiding behind the same crate for 20 minutes.

I'd have to say the 360 controller is the most comfortable this generation, but I am a little more precise with the ps3 controller. I hated the playstation controller for the longest time until I got my hands on COD4, then it grew on me pretty quickly.

I read somewhere that Universal has already bought the rights to make a movie based on this game, which is based on a book... the game will probably turn out all right, but the movie will probably suck.

@GiantEnemyCrab, I'm aware it's just a dashboard, but they act like it's this amazing interactive thing. People are always bashing on Home. I'm just saying it's at more than what they think the 360 offers. I'm calling out people who hate on Home, not haters in general. I like how you think my statement is contradictory though. It's not like I said I can't tolerate people who don't tolerate others or that I want to kill people who are against peace. I'm not trying to bash the NXE, just th...

It's always good to have more reasons to go into Home. To all you haters out there: there might not be a whole lot to do in Home, but it's still more fun than your NXE.

Len Wiseman has a track record of movies with good action, but crappy story and dialogue.

Gears of War should be perfect for him...

Then why is Edge's review on there?

Does this company do anything original? Why do people even stand by them? I was a fan of the original xbox, but this company is scrambling to make quick cash by copying apple and sony and screwing us in the process. Vista was a failure, Internet explorer sucks, zune sucks, the 360 is a faulty product, and they rip people off with its add-ons and xbox live. I'm not a sony fanboy, but microsoft's track record speaks for itself.
