My 60gig has crashed 5 times now since firmware 2.0 I am glad they are addressing this. For me it has crashed twice while trying to check my folding stats while running Folding@Home and once while exiting annoying. 2 of the times I had to actually turn off the power using the switch on the back because holding the power button would not work. But Still nothing on the poor picture quality of PS2 games with smoothing set to on hmm.
Oh Well no big deal I am gonna get back to playing Unch...

Since the update my PS3 has frozen 3 times each when I was coming out of playing video files, prior to this update it was rock solid. I keep the info bar active as I don't notice hat much slow down. I think they should do a Retelling of the story that combines Resident Evil 1 and 2 into one big game so they can use today’s Hardware to really update the game play.
I checked out the exact scenes shown here with this post and their is a cropping issue. But here is where it gets even more strange as the regular DVD picture shown also has a cropping issue.

We had DUALSHOCK for PS, DUALSHOCK2 for PS2 so why not DUALSHOCK3 for PS3. Makes sense to me.

I was at a Microsoft XNA Game Studio meeting at the beginning of the year, they had the Grey one there and they explained it. It was the 360 Dev kit specifically for Game Developers. This picture looks the same and it makes since to see it here as any games in development would be running on these 360's. I do recall the Hard drive was a bit larger on the dev kit though but they are still removable so they could just have the new larger hard drive on it in this photo.

Their response was "This rumor is absolutely not true. There are currently no plans to add motion-sensing capability to the PlayStation 2 controller" But Wait the rumor is that they are prepping a "Wii-like controller" not that they were adding motion sensing to the PS2 Controller. Are they trying to throw us off.
If motion sensing is the next big thing do you think Sony and Microsoft are just going to stand by and do nothing to get in on the business. Get real. The Wii is selling like crazy, I imagine it could breath a lot of life into the PS2 or any other console for that matter. And heck the PS2 is much cheaper then the Wii.
I am thinking Microsoft will offer their own official HDMI cable at some point since they offer various options already for the original 360's. Don't you think? Has anyone Heard anything?

If it were this high, could Microsoft really keep it quite? But all this talk of failure rates make me really nervous. My Warranty ends November of this year. I hope I never experience the red ring. Yeah they don't need to charge for it, I should be able to play Gears online for free and not pay for X-box live Yearly to do it. This is where Microsoft Fails online, if Sony can do it so can Microsoft.
This game is on my X-mass wish list I can't wait to get it :)
