I prefer the first engine on consoles the second one not that much.

I like Sci-Fi as long isnt too futuristic looking like mass effect and halo.

lol what are talking about alien ressurection barely as any plot and lines and horrible pacing and bearable acting was praticly non-existent.
Alien 3 was bad but at least it was good building up suspance and fear.
Most 1st party games already proved that.
This gen still as alot to offer the way i see it but next gen can show up anytime i dont mind ill still be playin ps3 and 360.
I play PS1 games and i think many did aged very well but that´s only my perspective.
I advise the author to not glue his eyes to his tv/monitor.
Killzone 2 controls have good side and bad side.
good side: makes everything more tactical so that players can have great competitve matches.
bad side: there´s certain classes that have diferent abilities like cloacking and a faster sprint with a certain pre-determined weapon but the problem was that it allows you to pick other weapons laying around the map and still be able to use those unique abilies. No one likes to see invisible men with machine guns...
Auto aim in RDR and GTA4 just make the gameplay less enjoyable but i guess casuals will always will take that for granted when they get to play the games.
Manual aim did sucked in previous rockstar games before GTA4 but not any longer.
Mirrors Edge guns was just a nice extra fun for the player the way i see it.
The best for graphics not for gameplay.
For gameplay nothing beats IW 3.0 Call of Duty 4 still looks amazing and plays amazing. (dont blame on the sequels cause they clearly look worse compared to cod4 fluidity and detail)
