Calling for S-E to end the Final Fantasy series doesn't really make any sense, especial when considering that each entry in the series is totally different and has no relation with the previous entry plot wise, and setting wise other than the Final Fantasy name slapped onto it to increase its sales due to brand recognition, and minor similarities like potions and so forth. Of course with the exception of x-2 and 13-2.
Thanks to Japan, any lead the Xbox 360 has in the UK and the US over the PS3 are shaved off and then some. I presume the rest of Europe share a similar tale as well.

I agree with ndibu that the Xbox 360 S brings more to the table than the PS3 slim because the PS3 didn't really need a revision since it was nearly perfect both hardware and feature wise. The only thing it needed was the form factor which was what it got with the Slim.
On the other hand, the old Xbox 360 was a disaster. It was by far the worst hardware in the console gaming industry, which was not a surprise since Microsoft rushed to the market in fear of Sony's next ...
So basically, when Edge gives an 8 to Xbox 360 exclusive games it is not considered an actual 8 by other publication standards, since Edge tends to overrate Xbox 360 exclusive and underrate PS3 exclusive.

The article clearly shows that there is no reason whatsoever to buy an Xbox 360 over the PS3 unless you like Halo, .... and Halo spin-offs.
Notice how almost every most wanted list or top upcoming games for the Xbox 360 contains of mostly multiplatform titles while most PS3 lists contains mostly of exclusive titles to the console. This trend speaks volumes of the quality of PS3 exclusives games compared to the xbox 360.
Man the soundtrack of this game is awesome. Will buy this game for the soundtrack alone.

umm MGO is P2p, in other words, Konami doesn't host servers but the players do. All games depends on the players connection so lag may vary between different games.
But I got to admit that MGO's netcode is poo.
Given the fact that Metal Gear sold 4 and MGO were both released way before the PSN bandwith fee was implemented. In addition, the only way Konami could get away with this is because MGS4 is still exclusive to the PS3 and will stay that way given this deal.
