I think you've been punked dude. This is obviously a bit of satire and is actually quite funny. Heh.

Oh wait - that's right, I already have.

Why don't you go and comment on any 360 articles? There are plenty and no one is interested. Guess Kintec isn't as major a hit as you hoped....

So that's a 4.5 out of 10 - that's a better score than most for this.

Gotta love how the Kinect news is gradually getting less and less hyperbolic. Not so much gaming revolution as gaming revulsion - see what I did there?

Oh right - so Fable isn't a major series for Xbox given the lack of hype in your opinion.

So while we're talking about lacklustre exclusives that seem to get a free pass, I'm sure you'll agree the same is true for AW, and every Kintec game then.

Of course, Kintec and AW haven't been hyped much either lol.

If $500 mil isn't hype, I don't know what is...

"Below par, Rent first" - sounds like good advice for everything Kintec related, shame Oprah didn't say that too.

Indeed - where are the articles proclaiming this the biggest disappointment of the year? That's what came GT5's way and it scored better than this :/

This article points out that GT4 was tracked for 6 days while GT5 has only been tracked for 4, so the numbers for GT4 v GT5 are perhaps closer than one might expect.

Either way, these are big sales - particularly for a title with a non-fashionable game type (Sim vs FPS).

Sony is having a big year with the playstation brand.

What games are those 2.5 mil Kintec owners buying? Oh yeah, they haven't bought any according to the published charts. No surprise - the selection so far is abysmal.

The joys of shovelware - I thought we'd had enough of that on the Wii.

Oh didn't you know? In a deep recession there are retailers out there who'll buy PS Move stock and fill up their warehouses just so they can troll N4G lol.

Only played a small bit so far but yeah it seems solid enough.

I primarily bought it for coop though so I'm trying not to play through too much of it.

As far as the 3rd person zombie shooters go, this seems to be the bet around (well apart from Red Dead - but I haven't tried that yet).

I wonder which Red Ring O' Death they'd rather have - 360 or sphincter hehe.

Yeah, prolly the sphincter ;)

Really - what's wrong with the existing wheels that make it not fun for you?

r.

EDIT : Hall sensor on this new wheel eh? Wonder what the FF and pedals will be like. TM haven't really made a splash in wheels.

Hehe - all that and Move has still sold more - no idea what this 1.6 million thing is - more VGC fantasizing I guess.

But really, the hardware is irrelevant - the problem for MS is compounded now by a lack of software sales for the thing. Never registered in the Japanese Top 20 and already dropping like a stone in the UK charts.

^^ Absolutely. NFS hasn't had a good sim since Porsche Unleashed. Now they're frothing about GT5 when Shift 1 was poor and Shift 2 is still in development.

More time coding, less time throwing mud eh? Don't make me put you and T10 on the naughty step lol.

Actually, from Edge, this is a decent score. In fact I'd say on balance, Edge have scored it higher than usual :)

I find Edge weird - they have some great articles and up until about 2 years ago, I thought their reviews were generally good (albeit trending lower than other mags - but at least they were consistent). However, the reviewing in Edge now seems to be very inconsistent.

I think I preferred it when they didn't publish scores...

Interesting how it has stacked up against the NDS and Wii releases. Wii has two Mario releases, but GT5 has outsold one and sold 2/3 of the other which had 4 additional days.

No Kincet game in the top 20 - I thought it would do bad in Japan, but um, not that bad. This follows the poor performance of Kintec titles in the UK charts ...

Top tip 1 - when you get a car do an oil change - gets you some extra horsepower cheap :)

Top tip 2 - don't do as I did and prepare a car for a BHP restricted race by doing Top Tip 1 - thereby making the car invalid due to excessive BHP lol.

Have to turn some laps to wear the engine back into the acceptable BHP range :)

Sure - although this review is really for gamers with multiple platforms since it brings up L4D several times....

Seems to me, if you only game on PS3, then the stuff in Dead Nation will be pretty novel according to Eurogamer, and perhaps deserving of a somewhat higher score as a result.

Anywho, given my distaste for L4Ds, I think I'll try Dead Nation for a change of pace from the GT5 sessions!

It's quite funny really. Earlier with the 2.5 mil sales thing, there was a bunch of hoopla - until it was pointed out that Move sold that much product in just 30 days so sales of the two were tracking very similar.

Then Sony point out they sold 4.1 mil and suddenly a load of articles come up scrutinising numbers.... lol. Double standards much? Apparently an MS "sold" is fine, but a Sony one isn't....

Either way you slice it, Move and Kintec ...
