I think people are really missing the big picture here. Considering that fact that the PS3 fanbase is not exactly huge, it will expand through out the year(s). And since RE5 is far from its release, they might have reconsidered their plan. Just saying.
Probably wont be stupid if they reach a bigger install base, which might happen since RE5 is still far from being released.

Apparently you filter out anything else positive about Silent Hill 5 making an appearence on the PS3. Also you didnt pick up the latest "qoute", there was an interview recently which said some more (still vague) details. So I recomend you read that up before you rush your trap.

I dont see them porting anything for the xbox 360 apparently, they support PS3 by far which is sort of evident with the MGS4 & Silent Hill 5(possibly) exclusivity.
Konami is a huge supporter of the PS & nintendo brand, they even completely re-wrote the PS3 engine for Pro evolution soccer 7.
Damn this game just looks fantastic. The facial expressions and animation looks top notch. Man I cant wait for this :).
I think (ONLY think) that Naughty Dog will blow tomb raider out of the water with this, its shaping up to becoming alot more imaginative that tomb raider. Knowing Naughty dog, we'll probably get some creative bosses lol loved their Crash bandicoot series for that.
Its not that easy getting an agreement from the manufacturs to let their official cars take damage. Brands like Ferrari do not want to risk a hurt reputation, so its probably been in the proces for a long time to make damage. Either way it looks like Yamauchi finally convinced them.

I think people should be satisfied with it being a timed exclusive as it is. These petition never worked, it would take more to persuade Free radical to make it completely exclusive. However I wouldnt mind seeing it becoming exclusive.

Besides the Xbox has made themselves some new franchises, and the PS3 hasnt had the chance on that yet. uncharted looks like it could break the ice like Gears of war truely did for the x360.
