The article in question was on SarcasticGamers. Look at the title of the website. It was a joke article, and a message was tweeted by a People Can Fly employee, saying said article was NOT TRUE, and wasn't happening. Whoever wrote this clearly has no idea what is going on.

Oh no it definitely is. It's sad how much FPS gamers are nurtured by game these days. the I myself play competitive 1.6, and that game has some huge recoil, unless you know how to control it ;) (Thanks Heaton!)
Not going to lie, but MAG revived the FPS on the PS3. I don't think many people gave it a chance, but it is a hugely addictive shooter, that really feels like a good FPS. Oh, and I've played with people from around the world, and none of them lag. Good job with the servers Zipper.
EDIT: Multiplayer wise. Resistance was good, but MAG's multiplayer just feels better.
Ummm, not much. There are tons of other GOOD shooters out there, people just don't bother to look into, because all they do is buy/play CoD.

Ummm, Brink looks fucking fantastic. I think if it gets enough advertising, it can easily beat CoD. Just an opinion, though.
Nobody is denying the fact that it is a DECENT way, at best, to pass a couple hours. What annoys people is that it is the same game every year, on the same game engine, only adding new guns, new maps, and a couple new game modes, including one that was stolen from Counter-Strike Source (Gun Game).
