This article sucks and barely makes a point. It is a small accessory which you don't need at all, but some people might like to buy. So how exactly is it a gimmick? That's like saying a headset is a gimmick, or the Remote control for video playback is a gimmick. It doesn't make sense. Some people might like to have it, and that's all.
The one good point he makes is that the 360's is easier to use because you just have to slip your thumb off the analog stick to type. But that's it...

There are way more videos than just one. Tons of videos on this game merely show him driving around in vehicles. It's no wonder the game will be $40. It is absolutely terrible and I am sad because I loved the original Banjo.
I agree completely. The old Banjo games were awesome, and while I love the art direction of the levels (Banjo himself sucks and is square on purpose so they can increase graphics elsewhere) in this new Banjo, the rest is complete rubbish. All videos just show him driving around in vehicles... and that's about it. The gameplay is atrocious, the graphics are subpar, etc. It's no wonder they're selling it for so cheap. I cringe every time I see someone say this game looks great.
this is awesome. i really hope they make some for PS1, N64, SNES, and Genesis. and i hope they use the power of the Cell so they run really smooth with extra filters and features to make the games look better
I completely disagree with you mohib-uddin. Games like Super Stardust, Pixel Junk Monsters, etc are so much damn fun. And now that they are bringing massive multiplayer to these PSN games like with Fat Princess, it's going to be a whole new level of fun. I love these awesome little 1080p games. I prefer these innovative little games over replaying old games. Also they can do both because bringing the PS1 games to PSN has more to do with legality/licensing than with development. the game is amazing and innovative indeed. quantic dream as developers and heavy rain as a game are at the top of my list
lets just hope so because i miss the old school spooky resident evil. these new res evils are good but they are just action games
The game looks really bad IMO. I love the art direction and the level design and stuff, but from what I've seen he's basically just driving around in a vehicle, the gameplay is attrocious. I love old school Banjo so this is a major disappointment to me.
I kind of disagree, the game doesnt look good. The graphics and the art direction are awesome and I love the Banjo series but all hes doing is driving around... It's basically a vehicle game from what I can see... The gameplay is horrible IMO. What a shame, the old school Banjo game was awesome.

He is an idiot and is judging this game based on a presentation video. IGN reported on a live demonstration they were shown, The game doesn’t use Quicktime Events much at all it turns out, you could have even chosen not to confront Mr. White an avoid the Quicktime Event altogether.
