It's always R2 not performing in Kazahkstan, LBP only sold 250,000 in Belgium, MGS4 overslept this morning.
Had it since friday.
Played it 15hrs or so and NO slowdown to report - the thing runs as smooth as a knife through butter. Minimal pop-up but that's to be expected in a huge free roam game with semi-destructible environments.
Its fine, 720p is fine, the game is fine - whats all this rubbish about?
All this chatter from MS just goes to prove they have no class whatsoever - I find it all rather pathetic.

This guy is terrible at COD4! I mean come on, you've got this wealth of advantages over all the other players and you still manage to be poop.
I suggest he spends less time nerding away crunching numbers and more time playing the actual game.
This maybe a coincidence but the 'Downloading Settings' screen that left me waiting for up to an hour on COD4 online has thankfully left my life.
I had to uninstall the patch to play before but I reinstalled it after the update and all is good!
