You forget that they still have about 28 days or so to keep adding to that number mart. I see this only as a good thing for Sony as it would seem that despite the longer wait for the system, Europe is more than willing to buy Sony's shiny new platform. Capcom is doing many strange things these days including but not limited to; breaking up their in house studios, looking to do a Resident Evil 3 movie, and now DMC on multi-platform as well as a TV show in Japan. The largest Best Buy in my area will have 106 PS3's in stock on the launch date (I've confirmed this several times with several different employees on various dates. Last I asked was on 11/11)If a 30 hour camping trip means not having to pay $100 to wait longer for a PS3, then I'm game.

When it comes to exclusive games like these, I can't overlook the fact that they're not for the 360. Games like Prey, GoW, and viva piniata just don't do it for me, sorry. Honestly the Wii version looked very dull to me. I suppose it's a good skate racer, but I like more freedom in a skateboard game. So, IMO I'm going with the game that can do more, Project 8 on the PS3.
Ok, I'm not even concerned about the HDMI cable just yet. Once the 1080p TVs start to drop in price to say....$800 then I'll make the $9 HDMI cable investment, big deal. Until then, please quit with the 'told you so' 'xbox is soo cool' talk. The USB cable and the LAN cable are quite nice to have in the box, but that's not what's important I guess.
Hey guy, a USB port can do both. You'll be able to plug and play a mouse and keyboard (woot for linux interface) as well as some other peripherals, and more than likely Sony is still working on their 'PS3' headset, so don't cry so much next time.
yea uhh, 1 Wii controller w/ nunchuck & classic controller, $80. 1 PS3 controller $40-50, and guess what? PS3 owners will need only deal with one controller, Wii-bees will have to buy the controller add on, a classic, a light gun, a driving wheel...honestly, it's not that great a controller if you have to buy all of that stuff now is it? The people in gamestop treat people like a sub- cast of society, one would expect to be in safe territory there, but such is not the case. I've been screwed over so many times by gamestop it's unreal, and now this? Best Buy is my exclusive store from now on.
Force feedback was sort of a cool thing back in the days of the PS1, and N64. Since then, it's gotten old, and I don't see a real need for it anymore. Immersion is just being very snide to Sony right now. If Immersion wanted Sony's business that bad, then they could have, oh I don't know... dropped their $90,000,000 royalty fee against Sony, or at least lessened it an ample degree. I back Sony on their judgement with this.
I know this is a bit off topic, but is anyone else having a problem playing blu ray movies on their ps3 after the 1.80 update? I am using a HDMI cable w/ a 1080p tv, and haven't had this problem before.
