No doubt but these inside sources are a complete joke at times.

"Hey everyone, Sony's E3 will be bonkers"

Wow, that sure told us a lot.

Vita sold only 10k, which is also abysmal.

The game still looks great but what I think is very interesting, and even laughable, is how some still insist of showing bullshots of the game that isn't actual gameplay.

The issue is why do they have scheduled maintenance where they have to shut things down like this and more importantly over weekends and holidays when most people are going to be free to play?

People have been acting this way for decades. The Nintendo Sega days had sort of the same rivalry. Difference is back then most people we young teenagers whose parents often could only afford one system. Games back then were about $50 too so you also got very few games and cherished those games much more than you see today. Simply put, many of us act like spoiled brats now in comparison.

There was no buyback program for those so why should gamers feel entitled to get free or discounted upgrades moving onto next generation?

This does...

Ducky, great comments. DragonKnight is basically telling everyone not to upgrade their DVD collection and ignore the bluray transfers because they are all money grabs.

Why wouldn't I want to play the best version possible of what was perhaps the best game last year? If this came to the pc i'd grab it immediately.

We also see it all the time in music. We see them re-release prior albums all the time. Nobody is stopping consumers to halt their decisions...
