Yeah, Soul Calibur IV's Tower of Lost Souls mode is a freakin' #$#%@! The AI is so brutal and cheap, plus throw in that you have to have just the right armor combination to beat them. The only ways to win the later levels is just find exploits in the AI. It pissed me off to no end, I ended up snapping the disc in half at the second to last level and have no regrets about it.
And Alma is cake. Forgot exactly how I beat her, but it was with a mix of the Flying Swallow and Ninpo's....

The PC version is a near direct port of the 360 version to the point where they share the same file formats. It's pretty much proof in the pudding, especially when you consider the size of the key to unlock the content and the size of the textures.
The only reason he gets featured so much is to stir up controversy. The video game industry is extremely hard to predict. The only ones that take him seriously are gaming websites that are desperate on news and dissillusioned fanboys.
