He and his cronies have a sweet deal. Even if they are fired, stock options and parachutes will mean they never need to work again. Cronyism at its worst.
If Phil was sorry, he and his C-suite cronies would not take a bonus and stock options this year and next. They will not of course.
I get it, but frankly, AA failed pretty badly on Redfall. The XBOX production team is also to blame (they are safe as usual) for releasing a game this hyped in a sorry state. There are lots of fail points on Redfall, but only Arkane bears the pain.

Played Foamstars for about 10 minutes, the presentation made it feel like game made for teenagers. All fluff and no substance.

FC 24, playing as a coach in career, when I simulated and watched games (in engine) I was shocked. The AI was terrible. 85+ players did AYSO-level mistakes during the game. Looked nothing like a really soccer or soccer from the Pro Evo Konami days.
How about an Executive shakeup in Japan? Their Marvel mistake alone is worth a firing or two...
It is perhaps my worst game purchase in the last three years. Walking sim with some find and place the clue bits.

Think about Phil and his Executive team of sycophants. Six years of poor performance and they still have their jobs, bonuses, and stock options. They are millionaires. If we performed this poorly, we would have be fired four years ago.

Sarah & Matt & Aaron are rich thanks to MS and XBOX. If you are in high executive-level gaming and getting $$$, you tow the line. Then after you retire or leave, you are a multi-millionaire (Phil is probably worth $25 million+) and can speak honestly about the past.
