This is obviously based off market surveys Nintendo has been continuing hammering out. I’m a father of 2 boys with a Switch. We generally do a lot of craft with them outside of playing games, so this idea amalgamates quite well given our ‘lifestyle’.

We want this to happen but unless the stars align and we all do the funky chicken in unison it’s pretty much impossible. EA will never let this happen, or do everything they can to stop it.

A big bunch of nothing. An indie dev's comment on hardware means nothing in context to what's happening in the market. 4.7 million units shifted is phenomenal. People want to play games on the Switch and the fact an iOS device has stronger hardware is as relevant to the PS1 needing to be more powerful than the N64 to make it successful.

The game is looking okay, after having doubts about EA's ability to do a decent port. Switch owners should be happy with this, it's running at 60fps 1080p docked, FUT is included which is the biggest surprise.
The developer did say the Switch was capable of running Frostbite which is heartening to hear as it may be applied to future games if there proves to be a platform for EA games on the Switch and its audience.
Put in 20 hours and have to say I'm having a blast. This game has all the feels and hooks like RDR, Fallout 3 and Tomb Raider - encouraging completion on quests and exploration. I think there's some great times to be had and the physics keep surprising me, as do the mechanics.
Graphics a bit meh - but do occasionally have awe moments. Voice acting is a bit sub par. Animations average too.

Caving in to making a purchase on this. It's difficulty is a good thing, while some gamers may find the challenge borderline unfair - I personally love the tough platformers. They offer a much more rewarding experience on completion.

^ THIS ^ There was a time where the joypad was mocked for it's design. The NES and Master System adopting this over a joystick. These days everyone is a critic, but the two screen setup has something, or it wouldn't be so clumsily shoehorned in by Sony and Microsoft and supported by developers like Ubisoft, who want to push it on consoles.
It just needs more time for peeps to climatise and more games to utilise its potential.

I hold out great hope for both B2 and MK8. My main concern lays with no information on future titles or release dates for bigger titles like X and B2. The fanboy in me craves Metroid and Starfox. If we get those I'll be very content. Even if no other games appeared.
