Well they shot themselves in the foot in a way. Call of Duty is one of the biggest video games around and now they're not gonna be able to review it until after it's released to the public. Everyone saw that website broke the story, I'm sure they got a lot of hits but then they killed their relationship with one of the biggest publishers around today.

For what? It wasn't a very smart move.

Haha, come on. This kinda movie wouldn't really work without the real actor doing a lot of the stunts. You can say bulk up but Nathan Drake isn't exactly bulging with muscles. It just wouldn't work for multiple reasons.

And star power is star power. It'd be something like Bradly Cooper as Drake and George Clooney as Sully and some terrible actress as Elena and some other terrible actress as Chloe and they'd make up new villains cause Uncharted's vi...

Nolan North doesn't look like he's athletic enough to do the stunts that it'd require. I can guarantee you that your idea would never happen.

A movie this big would need a very big star for the main character and that'll never be Nolan North no matter how much we all love him.

Bradly Cooper and honestly Gerard Butler both kinda work for it. Others? Maybe Joseph Gordon-Levitt, uhhhh. I don't know. I doubt it'll be a good movie ...

I just wonder, to everyone here who has a problem with this game: what if reviews come out and the gameplay/look/everything gets nailed by NT. And the reviews are done by diehard old school DMC fans. You play the demo and it feels perfect The stars somehow align and a masterpiece is made. Would you all still not buy it?

Just wondering.

Haha, completely missed that.

Plus, you know, a lot of people are only like 7% into Skyrim.

Well, I gotta give Jaffe points for giving credit to Adam Sessler. He's the* reason G4 is worth anything and Jaffe knows it.

This reviewer seem to have forgot that it's supposed to be an arcade-y game and Jaffe called him out on it though. Opinions are ok but I think people use it as a crutch to basically say anything they want with no valid arguments to back it up nowadays. Which is annoying.

Jaffe is an odd man. But you gotta give him credit ...

R* haven't been bad at all. With the 50 hours I got out of RDR and the incredibly long GTA IV, R* have delivered in spades this gen. Especially on the DLC front. They make full and complete games then make huge DLC based vaguely on the world it's set on.

Which other developer has done well with DLC? Maybe bethesda but then again, they held a gun to your head and made you buy $10 DLC that let you get maybe an extra 1-2 hours of story and let you actually keep pla...

I disagree. R* have been like the only* developers that actually get DLC. Make a full game but then supplement it with huge, well priced DLC. Examples: Ballad of Gay Tony and Undead Nightmare. Both are seen as the best DLC released this gen.

The difference between them and everyone else? Their DLC looks planned beforehand but it just wouldn't fit if they put it in the original game.

Besides LA Noire of course. That wasn't really a R* game (t...

@ Callahan09

Haha, what does that matter? He loved the online.

It's not like he said the online is terrible but he only played it for 3 hours. He loved it. All negatives were aimed at the singleplayer that has a good story but it's just one of those multiplayer focused games with an uneven singleplayer.

He loved the multiplayer.

Haha, are you saying that's the only thing you got from reading that glowing review? The PSP's 3rd party support was so troubled from the piracy that even Sony admits it.

Whatever though, wish I could afford a Vita. I hope I can get it with a Christmas bundle or something cause I'm pretty broke right now.

Haha, that was a good interview but this stood out to me:

"You have to jump through a lot of hoops, even for important stuff like patching and supporting your game. Those are things we really want to do, but we can’t do it on these systems. I mean, it costs $40,000 to put up a patch – we can’t afford that!"

$40,000 for every patch!? Jeez.

Haha, whatever they have to say or not, the happenings at DF lately have been the stuff of fairy tales. Good for them.

Haha, yay. Now I can start considering to get it.

Haha, yeah. Besides E3 and maybe a magazine scan here and there, I'm basically never gonna follow this game.

I usually just use amazon unless somewhere else has a good sale going. Most of the time, the new price there is better than the used price somewhere else. Especially since there's no taxes on it.

4492d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well the point they make is they shouldn't be buying that used copy twice. They should be buying some other new copy.

Wanting a cut in the used sale and wanting to just make new sales is different.

Haha, nice stuff like this so rarely happens in real life.

Good for Notch.
