i was more leaning towards the thought of how developers look at these numbers. I mean, is something like that going to cause them to go, "well damn, we make three times as much off this game on the 360" and have them put more effort/time/resources on that version? there is already much talk about devs being lazy or uneducated when developing PS3 versions of multiplat games. this is what i meant by "scary".

point taken, your logic is a bit more reasonable than the way i was looking at it. I know that they cant all raise the bar, but I still think they should no if they are not even in the same league as the other games in said genre. (im looking at you Soldier of Fortune.)
No worries dude, 360 owners have become accustomed to getting up and swapping discs with the size of the games library we have and all, it's rather hard to decide what to play next.
I do have to agree with one of them... the damn faceplates are ridiculous.

what i think xplos meant or should have said is; that they should not bother putting it out if it doesnt compare to the current fps's that we have. they have raised the bar, and when making the game you should know damn well if it isnt up to par.
