I know this is an opinion piece but holy moly this article annoys me and was hard to finish - sounds like a complete and utter snob and the type of person you'd say "you must be fun at parties".
I would sure as hell hope after 9 years there came some games along the way that made Bloodborne feel dated in some ways but does this game still deserve praise, of course it does. Not only does the game still stick out from the competition at the time, one could hold this game up vs many recent games in the genre and still smoke them out of the water.
Yeah, lol - who in the bloody hell would buy a physical copy of a so-so game they were so hugely on the fence with when it comes out completely free to play. I suppose if they do REALLY fall in love with it then sure, one could buy a physical copy but yeah, I just also find that unlikely when you get the full game to play for free unless they are the type of person to start and stop services like this often and for extended periods.

You are correct, ALL of us made fun of it, haha...maybe folks on here that are absolute fanboys but the general population? Nah...it has always been an interesting title, but definitely not something I am massively interested in but I would certainly like to try it somewhere down the road.

I was such a huge fan of Spongebob as a kid so I find this to be rather lovely but that price point for a mediocre game is a tad ludicrous.

I haven't yet played Remake but will certainly play that first. I take it Remake and now Rebirth don't have that feature that is in FF16 where you can basically pause at any time and it gives you background and details of the characters and locations you are with and at? I am a casual Final Fantasy player and they aren't exactly my favorite games overall but I do enjoy them and that feature in FF16 was such an amazing thing and it helped folks like myself big time.
Heck yeah, same here - got some new games but still playing Helldivers more at the moment. I loved Helldivers 1 and this sequel is just so much better and things have just begun, can't wait for even more content!

EA DEFINITELY tested the waters to the extreme for the sake of the industry...now paid DLC will be a good thing for a developer to do so long as micro-transactions are not a part of it. It is only a matter of time before something more hhmm sinister comes along and then micro-transactions will be a positive thing, just watch.
Definitely will be coming to this site less if those involved decide to get more and more involved in Politics...I come here to get away from that shit, come on now...
