I’ll be playing on pc at first but no console review and not being able to show your own review footage doesn’t sit well with me but it still, bugs can be fixed, the core experience cannot.
I’ve coped and managed through games like skyrim, fallout 3 through 4, gta 5 online, rdr 2, Witcher 3, battlefield games and many more that ended up being revolutionary staples in said genre so this doesn’t worry me too much but “that’s just one mans take on the situation..” *Yong voice ...

Oh yes, that I do. It's basic stuff like airing out dust, disc drive/hdd replacement, replacing broken triggers etc. I fix the common errors that the kids make when they don't respect electronics like placing the console on a carpet under a desk, nothing fancy my g.

Maintaining a gaming rig/PC is way more work in general. I maintain my nephews and a close friends consoles from time to time and trust me, if they owned a PC it would be catastrophic atm lol
I agree if it can run at a stable 30fps @4K then we should be more than happy and if that is manageable then 1080p @60fps ought to be as well.
I wonder what the next gen upgrade entails though. Anyone with specific details?

That's not the problem. If I'd offered you a copy now you would jump on it and so would anyone interested. My problem is spoilers, period, like damn, play and enjoy the damn game but no need to share and spoil it for others when you damn well know that it is a story driven endeavour and a highly anticipated title ffs.

Built myself a 2700x rtx2070 build in preparation for this game. Passed on preordering a ps5 not expecting it to be delayed twice and now here I am contemplating on upgrading my pc cause I'm now finding out that I'm below recommended specs like fuck me

I understand what you're saying but I still think it looks phenomenal. I really don't know what people are expecting from 7 year old hardware with this level of depth, density and detail.
I would adress the "it looks boring" aspect but that is not what I'm trying to argue here. I can't wait to see the comments when the game drops.

I have to admit that cp2077 was the final straw when it came to over promising for me. I had no issues with bugs on release, my issue was more so the story and the gameplay in itself. Now I do enjoy the PL expansion a lot but cdpr's self promoting "we did a no man's sky come back" attitude is rubbing me the wrong fucken way and all these content creators overhyping everything are even worse. I really hate to be that guy (gaming used to be better in my hay days) but gaming ha...
