Anyone thinking a laptop that costs 150 more than a ps4 can play any decent modern games @ 1080p is smoking something expensive.
This was actually some of the best reporting ive seen from N4G. Just facts. One suggestion(if its even possible) would be to give more detail to the network outages. Include things like regions effected and how long they lasted. Otherwise great work and thank you!
Best racing games on xbox? Says who? You? You're forgetting Gran Turismo, Motor Storm, etc.. Truth of the matter is Sony offers more games in every category. Period. "Best" is up for personal taste. Forza is a great game, I will not argue against that. Millions of fans around the world agree Gran Turismo is a better series for them. DriveClub is no slouch either. The reason why PlayStation is killing it, is because PlayStation's games appeal to MORE gamers.
MS could buy a private army and blow up Japan.
do they have an english option if you order it from overseas? are there language options in the game? (at least for text and menu items)

You could get a smaller TV and sit a little closer for gaming... I feel your pain though with electricity. My bill averaged 300 a month before I bought solar. Now my bill is anywhere from them owing me 10 bucks to me owing the electric company 10.
oh ok, thats weird. I'm not sure how useful this will ultimately be, as most games have their own un-editable vita remote play control schemes that would ignore such a device.

"i go home, xbox on" Ah...thats why you fail. PS3 had a TON of 3d content, and a lot of it was really amazing. Killzone 3, Gran Turismo, Tumble, Motorstorm, Uncharted 3... you really missed out on some amazing crap. The best experiences, is where you mix 3d input with 3d output. Like playing Tumble in 3d with a move controller, you're basically in a holodeck. Or Killzone 3 with the move rifle, amazing. GT5 with the wheel and peddles... You really missed out.
Gran Turismo is an indie? Drive Club is an indie? the 200+ developers currently making new VR titles for PS4 are all indie devs? Do you know what indie means? Or are you just a hateful microsoft fanboy?
project cars is good, but I wish I didn't buy it. DriveClub and now NFS both cover all of my wants I think until GT comes out..
@Volkama , I agree with you here, but I think it depends really on the popularity of VR. If sony's VR takes off, which it has the best possibility between all VR options out there, then we will need better hardware to keep pushing the boundaries. If, god forbid, VR flops, this generation will last a little bit longer than that.
I feel like square is REALLY screwing this up for themselves, and fans. FF7 in 1997 set off a chain reaction of RPG goodness for the PS1 and PS2. It wasn't the first RPG for playstation, but it definitely made a LOT more fans. What we want is a scene for scene remake with beautiful graphics that matched the old cutscenes to make the experience seamless. What we are getting is several action RPG games that will do NOTHING to get excitement back up for the JRPG. No new life will be breathed...
