I just picked up PDZero and Kameo for $20 a piece (brand new).

If they are trying to compare the add-on HD-DVD player to the Sega CD, they are way off!
The HD-DVD player will not play games! It doesn't have a procssor for gaming. If it did, it would be the size of the 360. Its an add-on that is there if you want it. You don't need it to play games.

This is what makes "Live" so great! The content is unbelievable and most of the movies and game trailers are in HD.
This is shaping up to be a great game for the PS3. But as for competing with GOW and COD3 this holiday season, I would say Resistance would be bringing up the rear.
Why?, because there will be more 360 owners than PS3 owners. And you listed the two most wanted games for most 360 owners. Especially GOW. I don't know anyone who doesn't have a pre-order for this game.
Now before you flame me, I said nothing about which game is better. Its all about how many PS3...

There will be broken PS3's! Blu-Ray has not been tested on the mass market. Its new and un-perfected technology.
Will Sony fix all of the malfunctioning PS3's for free? They better start thinking about it! Or at least give out a 1 year warranty to start!
