Naughty Dog are an amazing bunch of game developers. With the now limited power of the PS3 it's amazing what they are pulling off with The Last of Us from what I have seen. I'm no PS fanboy so this isn't some kind of flame post.

I have 2 GTX 680 Lightning's so will probably not upgrade unless Nvidia pull something awesome out of the bag. I game at 1440p also so depending on how much VRAM they have I'll have to see.
This is also retroactive as I was just able to claim on Nano Assault and Zen Pinball 2 (even though this is just a trial game that was free I still got 50 stars).
You guys should just get all consoles and a PC, that way you can play everything and we wouldn't have to see the same damn arguments everyday.
It's created for gamers, be they 5 or 95. Same with any console including the WiiU. Personally I don't care that the WiiU has limited 3rd party support as I bought the console for first party games. PS4 will also be for 1st party games and 3rd party will always be PC for me.
I've only had my Wii U for just under a week but I'm having a blast playing Mario U and MH3U. The off screen play is great for Mario and I've spent some time while laying in bed playing it when I should be sleeping heh. Also the internet browser on the gamepad is simply excellent, much better than I've used on the PS3 and the tablets and smart phones that I've used.
I don't know if I can recommend buying a Wii U at the moment though as the games avail...
I did not buy my Wii U to play third party games on, that's why I will get the other consoles and have my PC. I bought my Wii U for all the Nintendo exclusives that you can't play anywhere else.
