Can't wait to get this one! I have always liked the Burnout series.
When I saw the newest trailer on the PSN store last Thursday, I wished it was out now. I like the idea of the whole city being free-roaming and huge.
JD
I agree. It has had my attention since Thursday and I am only now starting my 3rd assassination. I have been taking my time and exploring and getting all the side quests and looking for flags. The size of this game is massive and keeps me wanting to see more. The counter moves are crazy and I REALLY like sneaking up on an archer on a roof top and pouncing on him stabbing my wrist blade into his neck.
I love this game and don't care what reviewers or others say about.
...
Arrogant and lazy=EA!
Keep it up Ea and you'll be closing more than 2 studios!
JD
I agree, well said.
It is very true that reviews are getting to be a joke. They say that it is repetitive, ummm, aren't all games out repetitive. You run you gun, you run you gun, or you drive around a track lap after lap. Come on. Get serious.
I used to listen to certain reviewers and base my purchase on those reviews, not anymore. I am now getting games that I want and am not basing them on reviews anymore. I have wanted Assassin's Creed for a long time and I...
Definate purchase for me!
JD
Umm yeah. Nice comparison. NOT! Not even the same exact location for each pic, one side is done with hi-res screen caps and the other done with a camera off a guys TV. Real good comparison (sarcasm)
I must say that thanks to sites like this, the gaming community has become a whining little b1tch fest of moronoic fights of blah blah blah....
Sick of this sh1t!!!!!
I am going to enjoy this game on my _____________ system and am done with you fucckkin...
the FW 2.0 was supposed to be last night?????
JD
Home is delayed until Spring 08
Makes perfect sense, but instead of having different dates for each game, I think the game indusrty should do what the movie indusrty does and have one set day for releases (like DVD's all come out on Tuesday).
JD
LOL. I agree Robeezy. Sears is the last place I would go to buy a game. Hell, I don't think the Sears stores here even sell video games in the store.
JD
I was at an EB Games last night and they had at least 10-15 cases of Guitar Hero III (the bundle with the guitar) behind the counter and every person that came in and saw the boxes wanted to buy it (I even asked). The only guy working in the store (who had no room to move because of all the boxes) kept telling everyone he can't sell them until Sunday.
First, put them in the backroom!!! Don't have something in the public's view if they can't buy it.
Second, if co...
People that want to get a game before the official street date!?!?
For people that don't have Oblivion at all, it is better to get the GOTY. For someone like me who wants the Shivering Isles and has had Oblivion since it came out and paid full price for the game, the add-on is a good deal.
JD
I most definately think so. From what I have read and heard, shivering Isles adds on another 30 or so hours to an already huge, great game.
I almost got rid of my Oblivion to get the GOTY and am glad now that I did not. I will pick this up for $30.
JD
Actually the GOTY edition is the regular PS3 version (which has the Knights of the Nine) with Shivering Isles. GOTY has none of the other extra add-ons. So if you have the original release of the PS3 Oblivion, it is pointless to get GOTY.
JD
I have a white Dual Shock 3 ordered and can't wait to get it.
My question is: why put out a firmware update that supports a controller that won't be out in North America until spring???
Another question is why is Sony even waiting until spring for the NA release?
JD
SWEET!!!!
I didn't want to wait the extra week.
JD
@Tsalagi
I agree. Wht wouldn't they put all the smaller add-ons in as well.
I was going to get this...
the other add-ons like Pirates Den and the other smaller add-ons?
JD
It was stated early on by Criterion themselves that the PS3 is the lead design platform for this Burnout.
