No matter how amazing MGS4 cut scenes were, with the technology and voice acting implemented into them, i still thought they were some what flawed and poor. Too much of the story telling in MGS4 was one character lecturing another character and to me that is a poor way of story telling. Also i thought the dialogue writing was just bad and cheesy. This is just my opinion, i still enjoyed the game but i feel that it gets tons of praise from gamers while they ignore the flaws.
They have set backrounds and soundtracks in the game to choose from, but i dont think you can take outside backrounds or soundtracks
After seeing the game's gameplay footage from sites like IGN's livewire,it seems like it has a really uniqe atmosphere to it, the way the game looks and feels reminds me of alot of gritty super hero graphic novels.

This is a horrible list, first of all Killzone, Resident Evil and halo wars are coming out in 09, and why do they only put Guitar hero or dead space in the PS3 section, or Fallout 3 and resident evil in the 360 section.
I do agree with you but still Oblivions my most favorite game of all time
I'm really impressed, we've both played oblivion and know that oblivion's fun runs much deeper than initial impressions. The video demo's i was too impressed by, but i've been listening to podcasts from 1up and ign about the Fallout demo and they say that it was amazing, and that in half an hour each of them had a totally different and amazing experience they took away, and they had that within just one hour, oh and the extreme violence isnt neccesary its just a perk your character can get if...
Am i the only one that liked the direction that the new Splinter Cell was heading. I'm kind of tired of the same old splinter cell and the new gameplay seemed awesome, it reminded me of hitman blood money which was one of my favorite games of last gen.

Depends on preferences, If you love straight up first person shooters PS3 , if you like RPG's Xbox, also its tough to choose because there are games that could be amazing but you don't have enough information to justify your anticipation like GOW 3, Heavy rain or Alan Wake
I do find his critics of the Too human demo pretty stupid, i mean how can he criticize the story and call it pretentious when all he's judging it by is a demo, also the controls and camera i find perfectly fine after the second play through, it's a new, well some would say innovative change of controls and it takes time to take used to. I think this is undeserving hate to the demo.

I think AI is more ignored than it should be. Now people just care about which games have the best textures or the best lighting, but i think impressive AI is far more important than impressive graphics.
