Well I don't know about winning the console war, but the backwards compatibility benefits me. It was all the push I needed to get an X1. Looking forward to The Mass Effects I missed out on last gen, but just to play Alan Wake again and all the Gears and Bioshock.

The problem I have with this game is everyone kept on saying, this is the best looking game on console to date, or this proves that the Crysis can run on console.
Listen just because the game runs on console this doesn't mean shit. The controls feel clunky...there are frame rate problems and not only in hardcore battles and the AI is as stupid as shit. This game is a failure and wished I would have rented it before I bought it.

I hope this isn't an attempt to add extra cost to the service we already pay for. I mean I pay for Gold and happy with it, but I would not want to tack on an extra 10 bucks or whatever a month just to find games faster.

It's the flip switch I'm really interested in. Why devs still use L1 & R1 for FPS is just stupid, where the Dual Shock has two perfectly good triggers but yet they insist in not giving us the option to flip em. It's the reason why I can't play Singularity, there is not way to use the triggers!

This is true, being the lead console on a game does not mean anything. It's up to the devs and how they code that makes a well developed game. I think Wolfenstine is a great example. Pretty much lead on the 360 from what I understand but it seems to run best on the PS3, with no frame rate issues or screen tearing where on the 360 there are some frame drops, less particle effects and screen tearing and the game just seems to have a smoother flow. They just nailed with Wolfenstine.
Man this is one of the perks I really can't stand. Hopfully it's improved in this next version.
