I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far. Combat is more challenging and tighter than you might expect, has made me laugh a good bit. And as a souls player I think this is a great game to introduce new players to the genre because of the degree to which you can customize difficulty

I don’t know, it definitely has souls elements but I don’t even know as I’d call it a souls like. It’s challenging occasionally but nowhere near souls level. I think some of the souls stuff has become almost the standard at this point. I don’t think having campsites and respawning enemies is enough to call something a souls like. Personally.
