its not the issue of "why" streaming, its the fact that this is the 2nd update of this issue that is still incorrect....unbelievable.

i just re-read the title, and again the author/tipster/contributor gets it wrong. streaming doesn't work with wmp11, but there is nero ultra and tversity that works just fine.

i love how vgchartz are ignored when ps3 leads in sales, but used exclusively to show when the 360 is doing well (or leading).
the ONE thing i will never understand is how the 360 NEVER saw a sales hit when the ps3/wii came out and the RROD was in full swing....almost unheard of in the world of sales.

Joefw, i appreciate your post as you are trying to explain what is going on with the different versions. HOWEVER, from all the material i have read, the ps3 DOES NOT have a scaler "chip". The way I understood it, the rsx is powerful enough to scale horizontally with new instructions/functionality that was unlocked in a dev kit update. If you could point me to a source that states the ps3 does indeed have a hardware scaling chip other than the rsx, that would be great.

why dont you explain why no review sites are comparing versions? you have 2 completely different systems and the game development and programming between the two couldnt be more contrasted, yet they are exactly identical to each other? i dont believe it for 1 second, especially since the ps3 version is native to 1080p and the 360 version is upscaled.

now, most if not all review sites are publishing 1 review for both games. in my opinion, if the graphics were identical, review sites could still "claim" the 360 version is better based on opinion alone.

i was saying that when you click the link (or the jump) the ps3 review comes up but the xbox 360 tab in the menu is highlighted green...just kind of misleading at first but it doesnt matter since both reviews are exactly the same

Whats funny is if you hit the jump, the review comes up for the ps3 yet the green xbox 360 tab is highlighted in navigation menu. Is anyone else seeing this?

I for one would love to, but i dont think Bloodmask, Power of Green, or Almighty will ever stop putting out all the negative ps3 news they can find. They took the whole "PS3 doesnt have an upscaler" news to the limit back when it was first discovered, and now it feels great to say that the ps3 doesnt need one, because it is that powerful.

1080 is the native vertical resolution for COD4. NATIVE
1920 is most likely upscaled from 1280 horizontally via software, aka no upscaling chip. Just extra room in the video buffer to add 640 pixels to each side of the image making it 1920x1080.
