Imagine a super powered next gen console with power and 400 dollar price, they can take losses and gain market share, if i was gooogls ceo i would go for it, they could possiblly end nintendo or microsoft gaming divisions
What you all need to understand is this
From business standpoint, it makea no sense for sony, the install base is 2-1. With close to 80 mill ps4 out there, last gen microsoft declined this notion also, of course nintendo and microsoft wants this to happen, but looking at numbers, sony isnt gainin anything by this.
You guys really think microsoft and ninfendo are doing this for the gamers? Cmon we saw this reverse role last gen, sony already offfers pc...
Tbh who really cares? Me and you will never profit from this, iv always been playstation guy not because of graphics or sells, but the playstation controller is what i loveo
i bought xbr75 2 months ago from best buy. i think personelly think is waytoo big for gaming but movies look great on it, right know my ps4 is on 55' xbr, which is hdr ready, but illdef. try the ps pro on 75 inch.
i don't think sony is expecting to kick off like crazy, i think is more of a if your dedicated gamer, i own to sony hdr ready tvs, so i am upgrading asap. but the goliath will be a little late im a afraid, scorpio might look irrelevent by then to be honest. just saying.
nope, sony is focused on current ps4 install base, the scorpio is a totally new console, sony didn't wanted to change too much because of the current install base, microsoft is redoing everything and i have to admit its a totally different beast then PSpro.

I don't understand how this is middle finger to the cunsumer? sony from what i read over the net, already said.. no games will get speciall treatments. every game will be the but with neo mode? this is easy because they already have better versions for pc, so if your one of those that paid for a 4k tv hell yeah i want my ps4 games to support it also.
another thing, i do believe this is bad thing for the johnny come latelys, but i don't think this will hurt any 1...
i will be getting the neo just because im purchasing a vr, but here what i think will happpen
1. sony will let the current ps4s sell off and faze them out only to make the ps4k the main model.

i can careless honestly, if i want to play my ps1-3 games, i got my fatboy 06 ps3 still going strong,9 still play gt6 on it too, it would be a cool feature tho. but sony will try and push ps know through, so the plan has been already been dealt by sony.
the ps4 for me was all bout the controller and the exclusives honestly, its not always about graphics, games like socom series has always made me stuck with ps. don't get me wrong graphics are plus thas why we buy new gens right? but if the ps4 was less powerful in the graphics area then the xboxone, i would have still purchased ps4 regardless, no one should assume its about graphics all the time some people just go with what friends and console they grew up with.
get a group of guys together and you will have blast, some on my friendlist hate the fact its a 3rd person game, for that is refreshing, the only thing i hate is you can only have a squad of 4s which in my opinion is too small.
depends what style of fighting games you like honestly, forme mk series has always been my number one fighting game, some people don't like it because of how flex the moves are or for others they like the buttton mashin in street fighter is not as technical mk.

im getting just to try new way of playing, would be cool as hek to play fifa pro clubs with my brother in the same room using it as secondary screen.
