I know I'll probably get a lot of disagrees for this, but this game has had so many delays and controversies that I'm not even too excited for it anymore.
This game + Euphoria physics/animation engine would be amazing. Haven't seen a decent dirt bike game in years!!
I am a huge fan of TLOU, and I would agree that it really isn't that innovative. They have a basic crafting system (like...VERY basic), the shooting mechanics were similar to Uncharted, the cover system was great but it's nothing new...it's all in the way that Naughty Dog put these great mechanics AND MORE together in a big old melting pot and made an unforgettable journey out of it. But that's just my opinion.
On my fourth play through now!
Ooh I didn't think about that. Come to think of it now, a revamp of "Black" would be amazing. I played the s**t out of that game when I was younger.
@Angels - the first one was actually my favorite of the three! I think I beat that damn game at least 6 times...
The PS4 needs either sequels or new IP's, not more upgrades IMO.
The combat was easily the worst part of AC. *jams buttons until enemy is dead*
It doesn't need multiplayer, I agree. Co-op would be cool, but I don't think it needs any player matches or anything.
I remember playing DK Country on my gameboy color back when I was 8 or so...so many good memories with that game!!
Agreed. Looking at the visuals and gameplay, it doesn't really look that amazing (which I hate to say since most of Bethesda's games are outstanding). Hopefully not all upcoming next gen games are this big.
Skyrim is amazing, the visuals, animations (though still robot-y), gameplay, everything is much improved. However, Oblivion still holds a place in my heart. I've put 200+ hours into each game.
Eh, nothing too great this week.
@kneon; a sequel with a different venue would be great, but I've grown onto the characters so much. The game really would not be complete without Ellie or Joel. I love them both. But, a prequel would be pretty awesome.
@wsoutlaw87; the ending didn't wrap much up at all, you're absolutely right. But if anything, that's what I liked about it. I like having open ended discussions on what could happen after the end...well, ends. And maybe that's just how the c...
Who caaaaaares, we've seen tons of these videos and pictures comparing the different versions already. Just play the game and enjoy it!
I loved The Last of Us. Beat it twice, going on three times now. However, I think that creating a sequel to The Last of Us is like creating a sequel to Forest Gump...it's just such a classic on it's own, it's almost too risky to create a sequel (although I'm sure Naughty Dog could pull it off flawlessly). I loved the game, but I agree with TomShoe on the second part of his statement. It was an emotional roller coaster the whole way through, and there isn't exactly a need f...
Am I the only one getting a 404 error??
On the topic of funniest quotes however, I personally loved Trevor's "Ice c0ck, pop c0ck, F*CK!" quote when he wakes up on mount Chiliad I believe. That part had me in tears laughing!
*EDIT* link works for me now, no error haha
Ughhhh. The cone challenge on the Lunar Rover drove me nuts. Still haven't beaten it!
It does look better, but I hate how they changed Lara's face. It looked much more natural before, now it's like..anime or something. I don't know, that's the only real drawback I see of the Definitive Edition.
Agreed. I was very hesitant at first to drop $45 on it, but once I popped it in my PS3, I was just blown away. it is absolutely fantastic, I just started my second playthrough today! I found the multiplayer to be very confusing and "eh" however.
Yep. The only other games I enjoyed in the series were the first Black Ops (stopped playing after that), and, the much underrated, Call of Duty 3. I loved the multiplayer in COD3, I used to have such a blast with it.
