Seems odd in all honesty that the game has the option for high res and 60 fps when there's console mods for the xsx that run the game at 4k 60 are they updating the art assets that much.

Guess it's Bethesda no no shock might finally look like a PS4 gen game now instead of a PS3.5 like it did on PS4.

I love the game don't get me wrong it's my favourite in the franchise yet it never actually looked at good as many other games at the time d...

Reminds me of those 24 hours races in gran Turismo 4 having your PlayStation play for you.

But realistically if you have to use any of these for Grundy games there's a bigger underlying problem of the game not respecting your time in the first place.

Grind for game length is a real problem in my view

@dar yeah indies have something to offer sure but most people tune into showcases for the heavy hitters.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

No venture beyond that so many of the hardcore gatekeep the franchise hard as 4 was far more popular and simplified many of the rpg elements refined shooting to the point where vats was optional the game was far more accessible and sold the most out of every franchise entry to date.

It's my personal favourite I get why people love 3 or NV but I do hate seeing people crap on 4 and the people who like it.

Games can be ruined after purchasing them yeah we know this not from this but from GTA IV which had half it's radio content patched out due to licensing expirations and to me that was a huge deal.

This pin up poster is a bit of nonsense but the whole argument of modern games can be ruined post launch is Absol true.

I personally loved it and rank it as my favourite to date

This is the same leak the threat actors have been trying to sell the source code after cd project didn't pay the ransom.

They didn't manage to sell the source code to any company largely because it would be unethical for say EA to buy it so the threat actors failed to find a buyer.

After they failed to make any money they went through with their threat of simply giving it away.

Yeah far harbour on the PS4 was playable for me but wow did that fog cause significant slowdown killed off any desire to explore and instead I would go point to point as fast as possible.

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

I feel like so many people have unrealistic expectations from game developers cost and project scope.

Since we entered the HD era game costs ballooned the depth and detail required to flesh out a games world drastically increased.

Releasing a game like vice city in 2002 was a landmark game but release the same game in 2006 and beyond we would ask cool where is the rest of it and why does it look so bad.

Art, underlying system like da...

There's so much more at play now compared to 20 or 30 years ago.

Yes tools have matured they are easier than ever to use we are no longer limited and more universal however gamers demand more.

Making a game like banjo Kazooie vs GTA vi and as amazing as banjo was in its day its quite dated an unacceptable for a game released today to look and run like that.

Games now have complex weather systems that take months to program by al...

I was thinking this would make a good launch title for the switch 2

I recall this was a practice as early as the NES however Nintendo wrote in their licensing agreement if you want to make games for NES they must be exclusive to the console. Given the closest competitor at the time was the master system they were the only real act in time and the Atari had bombed hard that gen. Nintendo would also threaten to stop supplying games to retailers if they sold unlicensed third party games which and retailers would then be faced with the choice of hey do we sell th...

Games been out for like three years and has been given away as part of PS plus so I don't think they are making any more sales on the PS are of things.

I would think making this game a switch 2 launch title with a physical release would be a money maker.

Game was alright not amazing but it's visuals are stunning however gameplay was a but repetitive and you could tell the team didn't have all that much experience with level design as objecti...

No Activision has spent more than a decade allowing their military shooter to be slowly infested by purple fluro riffles, paid DLC and now rappers and aging famous hippies play in this military shooter.
