I read a comment earlier from a person who is lifelong friends with a long-time Vigil employee. This person confirmed that Xander Davis was a diva and a pain in the ass to work with, and that he was fired for poor performance before his 90 days. It's Vigil company policy to not include anyone in the credits who has worked less than 90 days.
It has been announced: a game based on Mike Pondsmith's pen-and-paper RPG CyberPunk 2020.
And every gamer who remembers paying $50 for that piece of crap scratches their collective heads...
I cannot believe this tripe made top story on N4G. This "article" is nothing but a completely inept shill for that stupid ass Pritect cover thing. http://icrontic.com/article...
AMD is providing the GPU for every single next-gen console. AMD also provides GPUs and CPUs for gaming PCs. It's definitely, definitely video game news.
That's the point: There is more to it than that. Changed mechanics and balance issues, for one.
Just out of curiosity: Why the 560 instead of a Radeon 6970? It's $100 more for the same performance
Does the Tomshardware article factor in shipping and Windows? What's the ACTUAL cost?
I want this game. I LOVED the original Alice.
I cannot even begin to describe how much bullshit this article is.
First of all, why would Microsoft need to "compete" with AMD's Bulldozer (a CPU platform?)

It's still working as of right now, confirmed. It's slow, but the discount is still in place.
I know where you're coming from, but man... Borderlands is actually worth it. I got it yesterday and was like HOW DID I MISS THIS FANTASTIC GAME?
I got Borderlands yesterday and got the demo.
I'm really happy I got Borderlands. The demo, not so much. Very disappointing. Hello 2004 graphics. Shiny textures and lame enemies. Meh.
Why thank you ;)
I loved the design aesthetic of the whole Genesis platform, but HATED the controllers.
Yeah I was kind of blown away at some of those benchmark numbers. This is at the top of my list next time a friend/relative/etc asks about how their store-bought computer can be upgraded to play [insert game here]
It's not so much that we individuals need their approval; it's that developers who want to make games for a living but don't want to fight their way through trying to make them financially successful in the competitive commercial space have a viable avenue to practice their art while retaining the ability to pay their bills. They can apply for grants and get funded by the NEA.
They'll probably expand on the Mii plaza concept
Pong, anyone? Atari 2600?
