Agreed.

They are as bad as they seem. Mainly because of how they currently done.

Currently they don't add content, micro-transactions are all generally content that was removed or planned but not worked on simply so it could be charged for later. Prior to this uprising in dlc, all these 'extras' were in-game unlockables.

Publishers currently are withholding content to sell as micro-transactions. They think about sequels and expans...

It's funny, for me it's actually the opposite.

Nearly every RPG coming out is now action based with less focus on the story(which for me is the most important aspect). I get quite turned off when it's action based combat. Even FF12/FF13 based combat... I just want a good traditional turn-based JRPG.

IMO they aren't doing well because there hasn't been a good one released in a long time, not because they are turn-based. (Coming from someone...

It's a common misconception that people have about paypal.

They actually charge the company for each (credit) transaction (credit card processing fees), NOT the customer. Source: I used to have my own online business, and we accepted paypal.

I really agree, the marketing approach is truly terrible for fans. Right now we're worrying that our favorite characters will/wont be in, instead of anticipating new character reveals.

They really should have shown all the big name characters when the game was announced. Waiting to see Crash/Spyro/Cloud/Whoever in the final weeks is just pissing people off. It's not building suspense, it's making people angry.

They really should have listed al...

I tried the patch last night, despite my two main character's builds getting nerfed(skill buffs you say? HA, they nerfed WW/CM wiz and Tank DH to the ground).

While it was slightly more fun(a few skills got good upgrades, Vault - cinders for one) and loot did seem to be better... but, it really was just too late.

I hadn't played for two months. I've already given up on the game; and changes that should have been there from the beginning aren&...

This article was written in February, before Vita was even released. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a pun trying to say Vita is dead, seeing as it wasnt out yet.

And the franchises it does state, are currently dead.. so bringing them back would be the equivalent to rising from their graves.

Also, 'Rise from their graves' is a pun for Altered Beast.

Agreed whole-heartedly with Folklore. Still one of my favorite games this gen, and definitely the BEST use of SixAXIS.

And Legend of Dragoon, could easily have a prequel to the first Dragoon war with Zieg and Rose and such.

Out of my 10 close friends 3 have PS3's, and 1 has had four 360's(2 RROD'd/dead, He couldnt send them in for repair since he mod's his boxes).

Which is kind of funny, despite more of my friends having ps3's, MS made more money and sold more 360s.

I sort of agree with the review. While 4/10 is probably a tad too low, the game was actually pretty average/boring, and Xenoblade was simply better in every possible way.

Honestly the game was subpar, even for a Wii game. Specially after playing Xenoblade.

Pretty dry/boring story imo, very little extras. Very very... average. I didnt have much hopes for it due to the lack of JRPGs on consoles this gen, and having it come out after Xenoblade didnt help. It was enjoyable but it really wasnt good/great imo.

Somewhat related to the blog:

In regards to games, going on message boards and official game forums you will find a lot of people 'hating' and disliking the game and certain aspects. These people always get called out by the blind people who love the games and see no faults. Generally these people who are 'haters' love the game/franchise and are complaining because they want it to be a better experience.

'Haters' generally want wha...

You really didnt watch the video. It really is quite interesting, if you get the time to watch it.

It was on her concept art, before the original arcade release. AND in ALL Japanese manuals and game guides, before even the thought of an American release.

I agree with you that it technically doesnt matter to the game and it's completely unnecessary for gameplay, but it doesnt make it any less true.

Though some people do enjoy charact...

Actually it classifies her as a 'newhalf' which is transsexual, right in the manual. The producers have even stated such. Here's an interesting History of Poison video.

Yeah, she's one of the most obvious choices haha, and totally expected to see her in one of these lists.

Good article premise, but theres a handful more noteworthy than 5. :P

(And a handful of bad ones, Makota from Enchanted Arms comes to mind)

No Kaine from Nier.
Or Poison from Final Fight/Street Fighter.

I disagree, it -was- a smart move to test these types of issues before the final version is released to the public.

Also if you think this is the first stress test people couldn't log on and had crashing, you're quite mistaken.

I played in every beta and stress test before this one(not this one though), and pretty much none of the stress tests were even playable, even if I did manage to get on.

It's delusional to think that...

Sounds like the stress test was doing what it set out to do, testing server stress.

Generally for things like this, they purposefully try to fill up servers to the brim in order to break it. They put the servers up with the intention of crashing them, to find the problems that arise, so they dont occur at launch. Not so people can go around and play the beta.

It's a test for the servers to make launch smoother, not a player test and play session. I d...

The gaming community is already all encompassing.
The point of this is that we shouldn't break ourselves up even farther.

Games and gaming don't segregate gay players. There's no need to have a gaming event that promotes something that's not effected specifically by gaming.

Nobody cares what race/religion/sexual preference you have while playing co-op they just want you to have their back when a hoard of bad dudes storm in.
