I miss playing Top Gear 1 & 2. I was fascinated by racing games that you could earn money & upgrade your vehicles. Midnight Club Dub Edition

The best analogy I can give is: I’m a DJ. I learned that it doesn’t matter if you have almost all the music. You can have a crazy extensive library & another DJ can have way fewer songs but still perform better. It’s how you utilize what you have.

Someone wrote earlier how bad New Vegas ran on PS3. That game broke my launch 60GB lol. Still I discovered Bethesda's games on PS3. First, Oblivion, followed by Fallout 3, then New Vegas & Skyrim. I had PS2 & Xbox original, also PS3 & 360. Didn't feel the need to own XboxOne this past gen. I'm damn pissed about Microsoft buying them. I'm a pro PS gamer & I was very much looking forward to any new Bethesda RPG. I hope the games still come to PS5. If not, gue...

Maybe preorder policy should be changed to pay in full in advance. Then we'll see if everyone can still preorder

Target has been doing that for several days

I was lucky to have 60GB PS3 on launch day. On PS4 launch, I bought 3. One for me & my two oldest sons were given their own each. I’m beginning to get frustrated & give up. When I think about the money being spent, I may be ok without splurging. With the numerous games I still have that are unopened from PS3 & PS4...limited stock is probably saving me money. It sucks, but if I get used to not having PS5...I’ll mess around and grab it very late. I remember the only difficult thing ...

Part of this is the retribution that goes back to the days of Funco Land. I liked it better when we still had EB Games & Software etc. I’m not sure on the history, but I think GameStop came out of those guys merging. Maybe even Funcoland bought out both of them & then we got GameStop.I know for sure, Funcoland’s trade in prices were total bs. I don’t wish ill will on GS, but the stuff they’re going through now is probably years of bad business Karma coming back

That really got under my skin. Plenty of times, I kindly asked for an unopened copy instead

It’s a business deal. I hardly ever go in GS. I do prefer Bestbuy over GS. I would use GS sales & get BB to price match lol. I really enjoyed GamersClubUnlocked & was truly disappointed that it ended. It’s all about whichever establishment has the best deals for the individual customers. BB was smooth how they swooped in years ago, took a lot of business away from GS & now even they’re rolling back on some of the consumer laden deals that enticed is to buy from them

As bad as GameStop is....we need to keep a big retailer that caters to video games. Amazon is cool, but the ability to walk in a store & purchase right now is something we don’t wanna take for granted. Trust me, GS annoys the hell out of me too. Selling open games at new prices, poor trade in prices etc. Perhaps they should take advantage of Bestbuy ending Gamers Club Unlocked & start something similar. I don’t know the answer. I will say this. As a parent..Toys R Us was really price ...

The moment I read "Los Vegas"......I figured poor grammar, would probably more shoddy journalism...meaning do not click link lol

Perhaps, it's because I'm now an older gamer (37)....but this hobby just doesn't feel as good as it used to. After reading the articles on here this week, from Drive Club to AC Unity...this new gen that we're in, from a hardware stance is the best we've ever seen for home consoles, but the politics & business side of video gaming is pulling it down. I just wanna play fun games, period. In my home: 3 PS4's, my 7 & 10 year old sons have their own each & I ...

Go ahead & leave now. Don't let the doorknob hit you, where the good Lord split you! If you had any seniority on this site, you'd know how it was in 2007 & 2008. PS3 owners got clowned daily. Now, the shoe's on the other foot...people wanna cry foul. Lol. I, personally don't condone the extra xbox hate, even though I think MS is full of sh*t, but I won't treat others the way, us early PS3 adopters got treated.

I don't mind microtransactions....I guess it's how there implemented. As long as the items are obtainable by playing the game...and yes, the reward for earning them probably shouldn't be crazy & or over extensive hours or tasks....What I can't stand is, the new policy of some shooters making certain weapons only available to Premium / Season pass purchasers....Okay, I get it..if they bought the DLC maps...then I obviously can't play those maps without buying it too......

@ wishingW3L: ''just let them be dude. For years N4G has always been known for its rabid Sony fanbase.''

What's up with this influx of members on this forum, that don't know the forum's history? If you were here, 2006, 2007 & 2008....then you'd know that people here were heavily persecuted for owning a PS3....Xbox360 supporters, greatly outnumbered PS3 folks back then.....PS3 got you clowned & picked on.

Where were you in 2007? This site (N4G) was so pro Xbox360. People were humiliated & made fun of for owning or supporting PS3, at that time. I own both, but favor Sony...most of members of this site must be new here...because if you'd had a little seniority up in here...you'd know exactly how bad it used to be....that being said, I don't think it's cool for the "pro Sony" crowd to treat the Microsoft bunch, the way we were treated.....crazy how tables turn tho...

Coming from an owner of both PS3 & 360 since they've launched.....no. Down the line, most likely yes indeed. I really want to a get PS4 for my sons & one for myself as well at launch, but I remember not enjoying PS3 or 360's games a lot at launch. The excitement of new consoles urges me to purchase each one, right away....but, the sensible side is telling me to hold off on each for awhile, to observe the games & hardware issues (if any pop up). For the record, Microsof...

Yeah, I paid $600 for my PS3 originally, but after MS charges you up for all the miscellaneous stuff....you're probably better off just buying the PS3. I bought my sons a slim 360, I kept their older elite. I have launch 60gb PS3, that I've upgraded to 250gb ($40 upgrade). IMO MS is way further into our pockets than Sony. $35 for rechargeable 360 batteries & a dock to charge them on. $60 for a wifi antenna for the elite. Every Christmas, better have a new Live card $35-$60.....

To all that complain about the PS3 supporters, on this site...where were you guys at 2006-2008? Users such as Bloodmask & The Mart, are just a few of the names that used to really bash folks for owning a PS3. People on here were in heavy favor of Xbox 360 & if you spoke anything nice about PS3, they ganged up on you....about how it had no games....doomed to flop....blu ray was a waste...no rumble....psn was weak.....you name it, they picked on it.....so I guess the times & the la...
