@Ziggyvertang
Confusing Effect and Affect is not a spelling error. It's a grammar error, same as "there, their, they're".
They were using the wrong word, if they had put "Efect", then you could call it a spelling error.
"Smart Glass" is not a new device, it's just an App that you will download from iTunes/Android/Windows App Stores.
It will let your phone/tablet function like a remote control. DirecTV kind of has the same thing.

Unique means one of a kind. Nothing can be more or less unique than something else.
It's either unique or it's not.
"BC is the ability to be able to play past titles."
NO!
BC is the ability to use your existing media on a new system.
"Nintendo never put any slots for N64, SNES or Gamecube games and only sell them by download. How is this any different?"
This is not different. N64, SNES & GC are not BC. Neither are most PS3s.
Maybe if you put a retail PS1 or PS2 game in your PS3, it lets you stream-play that game for free........ Wishful thinking.
Hey look, my TV has 35mm Film backwards compatibility, I just bought Casablanca on DVD. /s
I don't think they understand what backwards compatibility means.
@ShadowFlare, no they are WILLING, no one is forcing them. There are many that have xboxes with only Silver, or just a PS3, or no console at all.
I wasn't trolling. Seriously, why are we comparing sales of 7 and 12 year old systems?
1) Do you really think everyone who buys a 3DS already has a DS?
2) Having 100% Backward compatibility is a HUGE selling point for new systems. Existing DS owners can upgrade and still be able to play all their DS games.
@FriedGoat although the 3DS had the ENTIRE collection of original DS games available at launch. So when someone bought a 3DS, they had 100s of games that they could buy for it.
I meant PS2. D'oh.
Xbox 360 is 7 years old and PS3 is 12. We can stop comparing them. They are both old tech.
You're either a bad troll or a good idiot. I'm guessing both.
Hoping someone dies is worse than admitting that you eat children?
I think a more accurate analogy would be, what if you needed your cable to be connected to watch a DVD?
There won't be an offline "patch".
It is designed to run a lot of the game on Blizzard's servers. Your PC/Mac doesn't even contain a good chunk of the game.
Someone will have to reverse engineer the server programs, then implement their own server. Good luck with that.
You're laughing about 7 and 12 year old platforms while the brand new one is flopping?
Black Ops: 25 million sold
Killzone 3: 2 million sold
COD is already on PS3, why not bring it to Vita also?
WebTV has come full circle.
1) Everybody complained.
2) Price of 3DS includes standard SD Card slot with a 2GB card in it, the Vita takes overpriced proprietary cards, and doesn't come with one.
3) The 3DS is also 100% backwards compatible.
Give it up.
The 360 is 7 years old, and has never done well in Japan.
How about the Vita, brand new and flopping in its home country. That's something to worry about.
(FYI: I own a Vita)
