There may well be a huge difference between libraries if MS doesn't get rid of the anti-consumer nonsense. If their install base is abysmal compared to the PS4's, then we'll have the same situation as what happened in the PS2 days. The PS2 got tons of exclusive 3rd party games. Not because Sony had to bribe them, but because that where the gamers were.
P.S. GT and Forza don't compare. GT5 alone out sold the entire Forza franchise because Forza in an arcade racer ...
WTF are you smoking? The frame rate never chugged once during either of my playthroughs, and the only time screen tearing is noticable is if your anal mcloony.
A little tearing is expected in a sandbox, and I never noticed it at all since I was actually trying to enjoy the game rather than look for a way to bash it.

They should just release that patch right now instead of waiting. Pirates are going to get around the DRM soon enough anyways, so why bother trying? It only pisses loyal customers off when they can't play single player just because servers or their own internet is down.

Assuming 25 mpg and 4 per gallon price, you're telling us that you have to drive 60+ miles round trip to get to your local gamestop? Either you're exaggerating the fuel cost, or you should seriously consider not living in the middle of nowhere.
I have 6 gamestops within 10 miles... and the closest one to me has excellent customer service. If it didn't I'd have 5 others to choose from.
More than 10 years? Hardly. FFX came out 11 years ago, and what about FF XI, XII, XIII, X-2, Crisis Core, and XIII-2?

What a load of bull. This game has no contemporaries since it is obviously in a category all it's own, so trying to compare it to other game standards as a measurement of its gameplay falls flat.

I too took a couple years off from gaming in my early 20's. Then I came to my senses ;)
30's now, and find no difficulty balancing gaming with my work and social life. All that really changed is no more marathon sessions.
