Games sold per consoles (Wii, PS3 and 360) are about the same on all consoles.
On average one console owner buy one game per ~5 months in the US if you use NPD data.
More, One guy on NeoGAF, showed that 50 to 80% of the sales on a given month are outside of the published TOP 20. So you cannot base your estimate of the software sold on any system from the TOP 20 from NPD.

They lost market share in THEIR STRONGEST region.
If you look at the first few months, you see that MS is losing a bit of market even if they are outselling the PS3. They just aren't outselling them enough to raise their share.
The last 3 months, the PS3 outsold the 360 and you can see a bigger dip on market share.
A lot of peoples where saying that the PS3 would be back to normal by November (ie. 3rd place) it...

What about reselling it when you're not playing it anymore?

When distributor of Digital Games will start making transfer of ownership possible is when DD will gain ground. Until then it's still (in part) a gimmick to remove your right under the copyright act.
PS3 games aren't as front loaded as the 360 so it's less of an issue than on the 360.
PS3 gamers buy games at the same rate as Wii gamers or 360 gamers.
I'm tired of these peoples saying that PS3 owners do not buy games.

The media won't call Microsoft on anything. Microsoft is the 600$ swag bags giving darling of the media.
Also, DD has hidden drawback. You can't lend a DD film. You can't resell a DD film. Once you are done with it, it's useless bits stored on a HD that are not worth anything.
Vision test are scored on 20 too but the real reason is that in France they score most schoolwork on a 20 scale.

No idea but they are sure shooting themselves in the foot with these "exclusive". I would have bough at least 2 of their titles if it was on PS3.
I actually had Infinite Undiscovery on the 360 but sold it with the system.
I don't mind Square Enix doing game for both consoles but when they drop support for a title on my platform of choice, it gets to me.
Considering that they have not yet released one game on the PS3 and that i would have gladly bought SO, The Last Remand and IU.

From what i gathered, you need the development kit to make dynamic themes.
Seem to me that they wrote the whole framework to make dynamic themes for Sony. Other studios will probably reuse Q games work and make their own which would make it less expensive.
Indigo prophecy was pretty well reviewed if i recall correctly. Not 90+ rating across the board but pretty decent.
