"People who are downvoting me are douchebags who dress like unintelligent morons."
I dress nothing like you described. I "down-voted" you for being judgmental over something as trivial as clothing. Someday, we are all dead regardless of what we wore.
People are still people no matter what.
Capcom has some great content, but the people in charge of their projections are obviously working on the overly optimistic side of interpreting the data.
@koehler83
Averaging Rage's metacritic score across all three platforms (PC, PS3, 360) the title has an 80/100. Since when is 80% out of 100 a "failure" critically?
I think your comment overall has some decent arguments, but the fact that you make such a wrong blanket statement out of the box and fail to back it up makes me question your judgment as a whole.
Simply put, if your opening argument was better - as in, based on reali...
Glad this patch is moving out. I ran into the PC crash following the final boss fight, essentially making it impossible to finish the last five minutes of the game. Until then Crysis 3 has been one of the most fun shooters I have played in the last12 months. And it sure is pretty. :)
SynGamer, you said it beautifully. Not only is this "article" silly, it's very existence is laughably ironic. Apparently the "too little" Sony has revealed was more than enough for this and COUNTLESS other articles, discussions, and coverage.
Very good news. I'm excited to pick it up. I'm glad they made the wise call to delay the game, make it excellent and, and thus leave the current generation with a bang.
Some people will believe almost anything.
I'm a gamer, not a developer, and I am absolutely fatigued with the current gen. I have loved the last seven years - some of my favorite titles ever released this gen - but that doesn't prevent me from being eager for new horizons and experiences.
Anyone can be a tough-talker behind the anonymity of the internet. I've always thought it would be a fascinating social experiment to replace Xbox Live gamertags with names and addresses and see how quickly behavior changes.
As an example, in the news today is light-weight Boxing champ Curtis Woodhouse who apparently took the time to find where his most noisy twitter abuser lived. Needless to say, the foul-mouthed loud talker IMMEDIATELY changed his tune upon learning tha...
Probably because the Xi3 is expensive for the amount of power you are getting to game with. It's a nifty little computer and all, but for less money any PC gamer can build something much more capable.
@ferm
Then don't buy a PS4. Rather than complain and fill the interwebs with negativity, just don't buy one. Period.
I disagree with Edge more often than any other review source on the planet. I literally cannot trust their collective opinions on games.
Just did a 3 1/2 hour Crysis 3 marathon on a console. (Its the first game ever released that my gaming PC cant play.) Aside from occasional slowdown, the game plays beautifully. Switching from stealth to badass to stealth on the fly - often in mere seconds - is what makes the Crysis series so awesome. It's easy to pick up and play, but challenging to truly master. (The same principle, interestingly enough, is what makes Temple Run such a success on mobile. Any nobody can figure out how t...
@kalowest
You deserve downvotes for that. Ya know, for stereotyping black people and complaining for no reason. I mean, does complaining on N4G about your poor race relations make it better?
Isn't that just complaining for no reason?
People are people no matter their skin color.
If the rumors that the Next Xbox can't run games without a Kinect "connection" are true than the answer is an obvious "yes."
Millions of Xbox gamers - like me - didn't buy Kinect for a reason. I have zero interest in Kinect or any kind of motion control. (Nothing against those who enjoy those options, just not my cup-o'-tea.)
Requiring Kinect to play when I don't have any interest in the device is killer for me, especially ...
I'm ready to see the next gen and feel the excitement. The time of my purchases following launch is yet to be determined.
I feel that early adoption is much like everything else; it depends. Adopting an Xbox 360 late in this cycle was a much better decision than at launch because of the unfortunate RROD. Conversely, my original 60 gig PS3 - expanded to 320 gig - offers me full backward compatibility and extra USB ports not included in newer models. Plus, it just looks cl...
This article is an excellent reflection on the purely emotional value gaming can have. In the face of growing anti-games movements from world governments it is a breath of fresh air to hear about the positive influence gaming can have on a human being.
Gonna have to tart with Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite and then choose between Aliens: Colonial Marines and Tomb Raider.
It's a great time to be a gamer.
Oh, and I forgot Dragon Born Skyrim DLC for my PC. Gonna be pricey. :(
People like to complain and will find a way to do so no matter what. I have thoroughly enjoyed the current generation of gaming.
With a growing indie scene and titles like Little Big Planet, Minecraft, Portal, Journey, The Unfinished Swan, FTL, and literally hundreds of others on PC alone, innovation is alive and kicking. You just have to look past the surface of expensive marketing and BOOM, a world of new experiences is waiting.
I'm glad somebody out t...
I didn't even play thru the whole demo, which makes me sad. I'm a big Insomniac fan and loved the Resistance and Ratchet Franchises.
